ISIS Muslims in Syria kidnapped one hundred and eighty Christians. They demanded from the Assyrian Christian community $12 Million dollars, a price too much for the poor people. They could not pay the money and said that it was unbearable for them. With this, ISIS has said that they will kill the 180 Christian hostages. I did a whole video on this:
According to Osama Edward, director of the Assyrian Human Rights Network,
The negotiations, led by Bishop Ephrem Otnaial, head of the Church of the East in Syria, have been suspended due to the unbearable demands of the terror group …ISIS threatened to execute the 180 hostages if we didn’t pay the ransom
If you have been keeping yourself informed on the Christian persecution being done by ISIS, you would know that within this year the terrorist cult kidnapped 230 Christians, demanding a ransom of $23 million. The community, through their church, said that the demand was beyond their means; ISIS lowered it to $12 million, a still unreasonable demand for such a poor community.
Right now, Rescue Christians is working to help save the lives of Christians in Iraq. We are currently working very hard to transport Christians from Iraq into another country, and while we cannot disclose the information on this project, we will certainly keep you updated on its new advancements and accomplishments.
