There is long-established crude joke that in Texas there are only “steers and queers”, meant to be an insult to Texans. However, this joke seems to be less of a comic statement and rather the acknowledgement of a stern reality.
In November 2018, we reported the story of a mother who wants to forcibly castrate her seven-year-old son and mutilate his genitals. The father fought hard against the mother to oppose the “gender change” that she wants to perform on him, but has been unsuccessful in stopping them as the courts have ruled against him, meaning that his father will have to call his son a girl and he has also been forced to take re-education classes by the courts to see that he “learns” to call his son this.
The jury’s decision likely means that Mr. Younger will be required to “affirm” James as a girl, despite his religious and moral objections, and will also be forced to take a class on transgenderism.
With a consensus of 11 of the 12 jurors, the jury decided not to grant Mr. Younger Sole Managing Conservatorship over his two twin boys. They voted that the current Joint Managing Conservatorship should be replaced by a Sole Managing Conservatorship, but that Mr. Younger should not be that person. The story is sad in many regards and disturbing. Likewise, it also emphasizes a point that I have made repeatedly, which is that there is not only a massive decline in Christian practice coming, but that the dedication of a family to Christianity is best not made evident by their profession of faith, but by their actions and especially the support of sodomite behavior, a sin that has always clearly cried to Heaven for vengeance and brought down the wrath of God on sodom and her sister cities on the plains of Middle Ghor as a sign for all time as to the heinous nature of this sin. In the case at hand, the couple, who has since been divorced and had their marriage annulled, have been practicing Greek Orthodox.
There is also something in this case that one may not have noticed, which is the requirement that the father go through “re-education” classes about his son and calling him a woman. This is not even an allusion, but something directly used in every socialist nation of the past and today, where “re-education” is mandated by the government in order to compel somebody to obey a philosophy even if that person does not want to or the matter in question is wrong, such as what is happening today where the Chinese government is forcing the Uyghur people, who are majority Muslims, to eat pork, not pray, and sign songs in praise of atheism, communism, and China or else be tortured in horrific ways.
Keep in mind also that a majority of Americans are now supporting socialism according to statistics, and those numbers increase significantly among Millennials and Zoomers. This has been discussed in the Shoebat archives.
Tyranny has many faces. Sometimes it wears leather boots and brown shirts. Sometimes it wears green uniforms with star-emblazoned berets. Sometimes it wears long robes or strange hats. Today, it is a man in a suit with a nice smile saying “bend over” as he holds a large multi-colored model of a phallus in his hand.
During Roman times, Christians were often not just put to death because they refused to worship pagan gods. Rather, it was often because they refused to burn incense to the emperor, and act of worshiping him, but they could also worship the one true God. For the Roman Empire, it did not matter if one believed in the Emperor’s divinity, for the act of religious ritual was as much a political act and why Christians were considered “enemies of the state” in their times.
This is the inherent danger of tribalism, and why the Church has always held that while partaking of government, there is also a separation from government that must happen, because the Church is the bond that unites and separates the rulers and the ruled. She is not a Church for any one Empire or race, but of all empires and all races, since in Heaven there is only one empire, one sacrifice, and one people, and those are not bound by the things of the world, but by Christ himself. Every sinful dictatorship throughout history has tried to subvert this, not seeing herself in the continuum of history but rather as the totality of history, and hence the insistence on the worship of the tribe or race to the derogation of other tribes and races.
The US may have been a majority Christian nation at some point in the past, but this is no longer so. She has rejected the Gospel and is now a part of the dictatorship of sodom. This is also what has happened for much of the world, and given the infiltration of sodom and paganism in the Church, if “as goes the Church, so goes the world”, and the Church is showing major and prophetic signs of apostasy, then the world is naturally in a far worse state or is about to be.
California is considered to be a state that indicates future trends. While Texas is not commonly as discussed as California is in this aspect, she ought to be because Texas and California, while many may not want to admit this, are cousins by history, influence, and social trends. Both represent the first and second most populous states in the nation, many people who live in California originally came from Texas as part of dust-bowl migrations during the 1930s, and many people in Texas today are now migrants from California fleeing high taxes, crumbling infrastructure, and social decay.
California as a trend indicator shows signs of a dictatorship of sodom. Now Texas, the second largest and a cousin to California, is showing the same signs.
Make no mistake, Florida, New York, Illinois, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Georgia will not be far behind.
The US is not turning into a modern-day sodom. She passed that point a long time ago. She is just ripening her fruits, which are plentiful, juicy, and whose harvest is impending that will bring a crop of legalized Christian persecution to the tune of “God Bless America” amid waving flags as the pseudo-rainbow boots crush beneath them all who resist their imposition.
