Muslim assassins in Egypt broke into the home of a Christian family; they saw the son and immediately shot him. They walked into bedroom and shot the husband dead as he lay next to his wife, who was now screaming in utter horror. They asked the wife for the names of those they just killed. When she told them, one of the killers pulled out a list and checked some names off and left. As we read in one story:
The men from the Islamic State (Isil) came to Nabila Fawzi Hanna’s door with guns and a list of names.
They arrived at around 11pm, just as the Christian family was falling asleep in their home in Arish, a coastal city in Egypt’s northern Sinai, and knocked loudly.
When Mrs Hanna’s son Medhat opened the door they shot him dead in the hallway. Then they pushed through to the main bedroom and executed her 65-year-old husband Saad as he lay in bed.
As Mrs Hanna convulsed with shock and grief, one of the men calmly asked her for the names of the people he had just killed. “When I gave their names, he looked at the list and ticked them off with a pen,” she told the World Watch Monitor, a Christian group.
