One thing about biblical prophecies most do not pay attention to is this: when prophecy happens, the world is sound asleep and when prophecy is not happening the lazy speculates. When we read in Jeremiah 49:21 that a “great city” will be destroyed and the noise of this city’s destruction is “heard at the Red Sea” it should cause us to pause that something big will happen at the Red Sea before or during the coming Armageddon.
On the headline news these days we read how Saudi Arabia is planning to build a mega city on the Red Sea unlike any other city in the world. It will be guarded by human-looking robots and will be greater than Dubai (more on that later).
But it is not only Saudi Arabia that has plans on the Red Sea. Turkey also entered the Red Sea arena via Sudan and plans to surround Arabia with mega forces just as Iran is trying to do. The Muslim world will finally destroy its mega religious center to fulfill prophecy that this beast will burn its harlot in the desert.
Then when we read Isaiah 19 that speak of “nation will rise against nation” “city against city” “neighborhood against neighborhood” and “kingdom against kingdom,” this should cause us to pause again.
How can one nation rise against another nation while within each of these nations we have “one city” against another city within that same nation!?
If a war between two nations erupt one would think that the cities within these nations will unite with its own. But this will not be the case prior to Armageddon.
But this is what is so strange about the way these prophecies were written. The Bible has always declared the oddest of situations.
What scripture in one sense is alluding to is civil strife and border conflicts between different heritages and nationalities within a nation that is also combating another nation.
But how will this come about.
We need to know because this is a sign of the coming Armageddon.
Yet this is beginning to happen all around us. We see this brewing today in what is called Irredentism. And we are beginning to see this irredentist cold-style war brewing throughout much of the world today. Irredentism is from Italian irredento for “unredeemed”. It is any political or popular movement intended to reclaim and reoccupy an area that the movement’s members consider “lost” or “unredeemed”. Irredentism for Muslims is the process of turning the clock back where Arabs revert to becoming Saracens and Turks revert to Ottomanism and Iranians revert to the Persian Empire and where non-Arab Muslim will clash with Arab Muslim.
The Muslim world (and Islam as well) is not simply a religion, it has a racialist view where the Muslim Turk is more proud to be Turk and the Muslim Arab is more proud to be Arab and the Muslim Iranian is more proud of his Persian heritage.
Today we see this cold-war. In the latest demonstrations in Iran, the masses are calling the people there to revert to being Aryan and pagan Zoroastrians. They are calling on everyone to not worship Allah but Ahura Mazda. In Iran there is the increasing trend in displays of nationalism and a spike in pre-Islamic Persian names for babies, to the large flags along highways and bridges with the symbol of the ever-present farvahar — a symbol of Zoroastrianism, which predates Islam. What is now evident is an effort in many sectors of the regime to promote “Iranian-ness” above and beyond mere “Islamic-ness.”
The future will prove that this ‘cold-war’ will be a very hot one where it will be exactly as Christ predicted in Matthew 25 and in Isaiah 19 where ‘nation will rise against nation’ and ‘city against city’.
We had two World wars that divided empires, nations and kingdoms. Eventually certain cities of one ethnic side that was given to the victor adjacent nation are already calling to reconnect to their glory days with its mother empire. The Kurds want a Kurdistan and the Turk wants to reclaim what once was Ottoman.
So now we begin to see how Isaiah 19 is fulfilled where ‘city will go against city’ and ‘kingdom against kingdom’.
Different ethnicities within a nation or even adjacent cities that have different ethnic makeup will eventually collide in civil unrest.
And this phenomenon is not exclusive to the Middle East. We all saw Putin with his adventures in Ukraine. Russia too seems to illustrate Irredentism perfectly and we see the collisions that come with it.
We also see this Irredentism in Hungary and in Poland and in Spain’s Catalonia.
They embraced nationalism and are displaying an authoritarian streak. In Hungary today, a ‘true Hungarian’ must supposedly be forever aggrieved by the loss of national territories after World War I. Its in Poland and it is also in Bulgaria.
Take a look at today’s Bulgaria, which holds the rotating EU presidency shares a 270-kilometer (165-mile) border with Turkey, a nation that also wants to reclaim past territory and the height of nationalistic mix with Islamist fervor is growing by the day.
But Bulgaria to the Ottomanist Turk is the gate into Europe. The Muslim world needs this gate to enter and complete its ancient Islamic prophecy “first Constantinople and then Rome”. How else will the “ships of Chittim” in Daniel (Italy, Spain, Greece) collide with Turkey and their allies?
Prophecy does not exist in a vacuum, it is necessary to put the biblical puzzle together.
Last year, Erdogan’s aggressive nationalism and neo-Ottomanism was spilling over Turkey’s borders towards Bulgaria, Greece and all the way to Iraq. The maps of Turkey when appearing on Turkish TV resembled similar irredentist maps put out by proponents of greater Greece, greater Macedonia, greater Bulgaria, greater Armenia, greater Azerbaijan, and greater Syria. That is to say, that Erdogan’s plans are not to initially call to revive the entire Ottoman Empire, but that Turkey is initially insisting on its national borders after its defeat in WWI. The Ottomanists want to accomplish their goals in increments.
The maps purport to show the borders laid out in Turkey’s National Pact, a document Erdogan insisted the prime minister of Iraq should read to understand his country’s interest in Iraq. Signed in 1920, after the Ottoman Empire’s defeat in World War I, the National Pact identified those parts of the empire that the government was prepared to fight for.
A decade ago, Erdogan’s enthusiasm for all things Ottoman appeared to be part of an effective strategy for improving relations with the Muslim Middle East, a policy that some U.S. critics saw as a challenge to their country’s role in the region.
So when we say that Erdogan (or his successor in the future) make good candidate for a Gog, we do not say this in a vacuum. Gog’s main ally in Ezekiel 38 is Persia and one of their main opponents are “Sheba and Dedan” (the Arabs). For Persia to be an ally of the neo-Ottomans is historically unusual since these two were enemies. Yet today this is different. The Bible predicts odd scenarios. Even Arabia (Sheba and Dedan in Ezekiel 38) objecting about the invasion of Jerusalem is odd.
Today’s Arab media are really nervous about Turkey’s closeness to Iran and are becoming more hostile towards the Turk expanding closer to their borders on the Red Sea. For example, the prominent Arab newspaper Al-Arabiya reveals:
The Iranian mullahs’ government found no ally but Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan after the 2017-2018 uprising spontaneously sprang up in the streets of Mashhad and moved to the cities and towns of Iran in a world-wide spectacle. He is the only one who went out to support the mullahs, condemning what he called external interference in Iran’s affairs. What is strange is that Iran is the only country with which Erdogan, who is known for his aggressive diplomacy and his ambition to expand his country’s influence, did not disagree.
This is the only explanation for the unbridled ambition to share the spoils and meet them in longing to turn back the clock in the hope of restoring the Persian and Ottoman empires.
What we foresaw decades ago is becoming headlines in the Middle East. But today the ‘Middle West’ slumbers because it is excited about the progress the new U.S. Administration is creating with a rising stock market. Three years ago, the lazy predicted a “Shmita” Stock Market Crash in 2015. Where are these false prophets today?
Antichrist is not some stock-market guru. He is a man of contradictions. He claims peace while he strides towards war. The Arabs can describe Erdogan perfectly:
Erdogan supports the Islamist Arab Spring and rejects the non-Islamist Iranian Spring. He is publicly “secular” in the footsteps of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of Turkey after the Ottoman Empire, but at the same time he is an Islamist. He is a Muslim “brotherhood” Islamist in particular, and yet at the same time dares to call for and works for Turkey to join the European Union, while at the same time he attacks Europe and is infuriated by it. Erdogan boasts of being a democrat, but his democracy in his own understanding of democracy: not to allow any political entity to compete, and to ruthlessly beat its opponents on the pretext of participating in an attempted coup against it even after Turkey cleansed them and put them in prison. He is with Bashar Assad and against him and with the Syrian revolution and against it !.
He is more ambitious in his attempts to spread the influence of his ideology and to expand the scope of the new Ottoman hegemony throughout the world to create a “new Islamic Middle East” – the Muslim Brotherhood project – but Erdogan is forcing it into the new Ottoman rule. A status he cherishes with his followers.
In 2009, his foreign minister and former prime minister Ahmet Davutoglu, in a meeting with the ruling Turkish ruling party, acknowledged that:
“we have an inheritance for us from the Ottoman Empire. They say we are the new Ottomans. Yes, we are the new Ottomans. We find ourselves obliged to pay attention to the countries in our region. ”
Erdogan, the only ally of the Iranian mullahs, believes he is capable of achieving his goals in the new Ottoman hegemony by buying heads of state with trade promotion agreements and promises to arm and develop armies. This is different from the sterile Iranian approach, which sees “exporting the revolution” as a single way of hegemony, With a popular uprising involving Persians, Azeris, Kurds, Baluchs, Shiites, and Sunnis. The mullahs’ approach includes building, arming, and funding Shiite militias, even in countries where Shiites represent a tiny minority of their population; and sometimes, in countries where there are no Shiites at all, as in the case of Sudan.
This expansion into Sudan and Somalia is the region the Bible calls “Cush”. Daniel 11 tells us that Antichrist expands into Cush. Erdogan is so much focusing on Cush these days and we ought to pay close attention. Al-Arabiya, this Wednesday revealedl:
Erdogan believes that hegemony is achieved by the strategy of penetration through the construction of military bases, or so fancy, the establishment of a Turkish military base in Qatar, and accepted in Somalia, where there is no central government for nearly three decades. And finally on the island of Suakin, off Saudi Arabia, on the Red Sea.
We have outlined in countless articles how Turkey will expand into this region way before any analyst even thought of such prospect.
Al-Arabiya adds:
The new “high door” described by the leaders of the international organization of the Muslim Brotherhood in Istanbul and Doha as “the caliph or the sultan”. They calculate that its dominance will only be completed by encircling Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Egypt. These countries have always rejected the attempts to be dominated by the Turks and the Iranians playing the ropes of sectarianism. And it is certainly determined to resist any plots to revive the Ottoman rule, and the use of the Iranian jurisprudent as the guardian of Muslims. The Old and New Ottomans, and the Persian Empire were always against the Arab presence, and against the Arab regimes …
When it comes to Turkey, the Arabs are not stupid. They tell us what they see looming on the horizon while not knowing that all this was etched and predicted in the Bible. They are concerned that Erdogan is “encircling Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Egypt.” Antichrist in Daniel 11 also enters Egypt by the use of force while he enters Cush (Sudan, Somalia) peacefully by ‘submission’.
The blind West worries about Putin while it ignores Erdogan. And while Jeremiah 49 lumps Jordan and Arabia in prophecy, Saudi Arabia is also making some proclamations to build a mega city between it and Jordan. This mega-city will be called Neom.
This bold new vision comes with a startling and unequivocal message from Saudi Arabia’s next king to its ultra-conservative Wahhabi clerics: “We are returning to what we were before, a country of moderate Islam that is open to all religions and to the world. We will not waste 30 years of our lives, wasting time dealing with extremist ideas. We will destroy them today.”
Saudi Arabia has declared war on her pimps, the Wahhabi clerics.
Desperate for money, all of the sudden, Islamist Saudi Arabia is advancing women’s rights and economic diversification.
Today all Irredentist nations have a vision. Turkey has 2023, where they will be completely independent from western aid regarding armaments. Saudi Arabia has a 2030 vision of a robot-run mega city. All this optimism which will all end in catastrophe where Iran will destroy Arabia. Saudi’s very spot for its mega city in the midst of three borders, Jordan, Israel and Egypt. It has another outcome, the redemption of the Arabs and the Persians.
HOW IRAN, ARABIA AND JORDAN ARE DESTROYED AND THEN CONVERTED TO CHRISTIANITY
But in Jeremiah 46 God declares an outcome: “And afterwards I will cause the captives of the children of Ammon to return, saith the Lord” (v.6). “But in the latter days I will cause the captives of Elam [Persia/Iran] to return, saith the Lord” (v. 39)
Ammon is today Amman, the capital of Jordan. Iran is also converted. But before all this happens, from our analysis of scripture, we predict the clash of Muslim Arabs versus non-Arab Muslims. This will cause the utter destruction of Arabia.
How we know this, is that Isaiah 21, and in Jeremiah 49 it clearly reveals the destruction of Arabia by Persia and Daniel tells us that “whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.”
This empire of Antichrist, though it is mingled, the races, each will cling to its own, which will cause it to be crushed by the Rock.
In other words, the kingdom of Antichrist (just like Erdogan) is a set of contradictions. The Turk is still a proud Turk, even though he is Muslim. And the Arab too is still a proud Arab, even though he too is Muslim and regardless how much Erdogan attempts to claim they are all one, Shiites and Sunnis Arab and non-Arab will never adhere to one another.
And last month we see Turkey by its encroachment in the Red Sea with Iran’s antagonism against Arabia sets the stage for the destruction of that “great city” on the Red Sea where which Isaiah 21 and Jeremiah 49 speak of it:
Therefore, hear ye the counsel of the Lord, which he hath taken concerning Edom: and his thoughts, which he hath thought concerning the inhabitants of Teman: surely the little ones of the flock shall cast them down, of a truth they shall destroy them with their habitation. The earth is moved at the noise of their fall: the cry of their voice is heard in the Red Sea.
Haydock’s Catholic Commentary on Verse 28 comments pinpointing where this prophecy is fulfilled:
Cedar and Asor were parts of Arabia; which, with Moab, Ammon, Edom, &c., were all brought under the yoke of Nabuchodonosor. (Challoner) — We know nothing of the situation of Asor, which means “a court.” (Calmet) — It might be the flying camp (Theodoret) of the Saracens, (St. Jerome, in Isaias xxi. 16.) who dwelt under tents like the hordes of Tartars, the Ethiopian emperor, and the mogul. Yet this seems to have been a fixed habitation, ver. 30, 33. — East; the Desert Arabia, ver. 32. (Calmet) — Cedar was the son of Ismael, and Asor the chief city of the Agarens. (Worthington)
In Isaiah 21, it is Elam (Iran) that strikes at Arabia and in Jeremiah 49 Arabia is destroyed and Iran also is brought to its knees by an invasion from “the four winds”:
35 Thus saith the Lord of hosts: Behold I will break the bow of Elam, and their chief strength. 36 And I will bring upon Elam the four winds from the four quarters of heaven: and I will scatter them into all these winds: and there shall be no nation to which the fugitives of Elam shall not come. 37 And I will cause Elam to be afraid before their enemies, and in the sight of them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them, my fierce wrath, saith the Lord: and will send the sword after them, till I consume them. 38 And I will set my throne in Elam, and destroy kings and princes from thence, saith the Lord. 39 But in the latter days I will cause the captives of Elam to return, saith the Lord.
Such is the outcome of God’s enemies. Iran, like Syria, will become a global refugee problem while Gog is killed near Jericho by the Dead Sea and all their peoples are converted. Antichrist who brings nothing but death, desert and poverty will end up dead near the Sea of the Dead while the remnant of the people will repent.
No entity on earth can ever defeat Christ’s Church even if they concluded that they have defeated it, because it is through our martyrdom we become victorious.
