Muslims Are Already Worshipping Erdogan. Is Erdogan The Antichrist? Does He Fit All The Scriptural Proofs?

By Walid Shoebat (Shoebat Sunday Special PART I)

Holy Smokes! Is this man, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Antichrist, who will demand worship in the Temple of God? Heck, Erdoğan is already accepting to be worshipped. But people still insist asking me: is he the Antichrist?

Well, what we do know is that Turkey will produce the Antichrist. If you object, please answer the Jesus-style questions that no biblical scholar can answer, unless of course, they admit Turkey is the land of Antichrist. If you are up to it, try answering this:

What other spot on earth matches Turkey as the land of Antichrist, especially that Erdogan and Turkey are “of the land of Magog”? What other man qualifies today but Erdogan to be “chief prince of Meshech and Tubal” (Ezekiel 38:3) “sits in Pergamum,” the “seat of satan” (Revelation 2:12) qualifies as “king of the north” (Daniel 11:40) while has a “threat from the north” of him (Daniel 11:44) which is Russia, represents the landmass of ancient Greece, where the only verse in the whole of scripture that pin-point where Christ marches towards is the direction for the north (Zechariah 9:14): “And the Lord God shall be seen over them, and his dart shall go forth as lightning: and the Lord God will sound the trumpet, and go in the whirlwind of the south“?

No historian or geographer can find any other spot on earth, that could match all these requirements, unless they pin-point Turkey. No historian or biblical expert can pin-point any other “beast” (threat to Christendom) greater than the Ottoman Turks. Try picking Russia and Putin (since you argue that Meshech is Moscow) but north of Russia is an ocean and Russia is not Pergamum. Try picking Rome. While Rome has Germany to its north (that could be a threat from the north) but Rome is not Pergamum and neither is it “chief prince of Meshech and Tubal”. No matter what you jimmy-rig, only Turkey qualifies. No matter how you describe the Antichrist, from the figment of your imagination; nothing matches unless all the verses; every single verse fits one man and one geography, perfectly.

Is Erdogan the Antichrist? We are to wait and see. But I do get some challenges. The Antichrist is said to be a charismatic politician, a religious figure and a Houdini type who does ‘signs and wonders’ ‘a miracle worker’ all in one. How then does Erdogan qualify to be the “Houdini of Houdinis?”

Answer: First of all, Antichrist does not do genuine miracles. His “working miracles” as Paul tells us are “lying wonders” (2 Thessalonians 2:9) where only his followers believe such miracles. Secondly, he does not necessarily do these “lying wonders” himself; he does them via “three unclean spirits like frogs” (Apocalypse 16:14). Thirdly, these ‘phony performances’ are strictly done to “muster the world for war at Armageddon”. These are not a circus Houdini style magical performances, but are “three ministers,” sent out towards three directions, calling the Muslim world to come to battle at Armageddon. All three points I just made here are exactly what the context says:

“And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. And he [the beast] gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.” (Rev. 16:13, 14)

So here is the text and context; does the Antichrist here perform these ‘fake miracles’ himself? No.

He performs these “lying wonders” through his “three unclean spirits like frogs”. It is these “three unclean spirits” that do the work on his behalf as scripture clearly states. There goes out the window the circus Antichrist-Houdini. Also, these miracles are “lying wonders” (not genuine miracles) that are done to strictly call the nations for warfare against Israel at “Armageddon”. All three points (1) lying wonders are (2) performed by three religious personalities (3) to strictly invite the Antichrist nations to come to war.

When it comes to prophecy, most formulate a figment of their own imagination. The figment then becomes the driving mold and not the scripture.

Antichrist sends out three religious figures towards three directions which can be constructed from scripture. From the east, one spirit calls the “two hundred million man army” (Rev 16:12). They come all the way from Japan, Indonesia, Uguristan, Afghanistan, Iran and Iraq. From the “north” a second spirit brings in Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan Turkmenistan (Magog, Gomer and Beth Togarma). From the south-west another spirit musters Sudan, Somalia, Libya, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco and Mauritania (Cush and Phut).

All these converge towards Armageddon in the Golan Heights area. In other parts of scripture we have the “eagles” from the West “ships of Chittim” (Christendom) including the threat to Antichrist in Daniel 11:44 from the North (Russia is north of Turkey). These are led by “seven Shepherds” and “eight principled men” (Micah 5).

In that event, even God’s clock rewinds to the same time and to the same place where Christ was crucified. This event even includes the same peoples who invaded Jerusalem’s temple. Antichrist in Revelation persecutes the Church (Christ’s Body), which parallels Christ’s suffering on the Cross. Notice Revelation 16:17 “there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done“.

Christ on the cross said “it is finished”.

Then “there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake” just as it was when Christ was crucified and on the same spot.

Then “came a great voice out of the temple of heaven”. God’s clock reverses to when Christ gained His First victory against the devil through His crucifixion and now His Second victory against the devil at Armageddon.

Even the very same exact peoples who came against His temple: Legion X (tenth legion) of the Romans comes again comprising ten kings under Antichrist. Christ even describes these peoples depicted in His Crucifixion: “Many bulls have surrounded Me; Strong bulls of Bashan have encircled Me” (Psalm 22:12), who will be the same peoples as Legion X that converged on Jerusalem comprised of the same nationalities (Syrian, Turks, Arabs) and we find Christ combating the “fatlings of Bashan” in Ezekiel 39:18.

Bashan points to either Syria or Bashan in the Caucasus in the southern regions of Russia. This time around, it is Christ’s fury on His face where “the fishes of the sea, and the birds of the air, and the beasts of the field, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the ground, and all men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence” (Ezekiel 38:20). Christ is present there.

This is Jerusalem’s punishment. It lives in grave sin. The clock turns backwards revealing even the same pagan Roman style debauchery where Jerusalem is called “Sodom and Egypt” for it too (like Pharaoh) has become a persecutor of the saints and “Sodom” just as you see us being persecuted for exposing homosexuality. Today even Israel wants nothing to do with anyone who is anti-sodomy. Only the Christians who withstand Sodom will be redeemed. The clock even turns to when Lot (the church) is rescued while the traitors (Lot’s wife) who sympathize with Sodom are cursed. God honors only the ones who complete (not bail out) the marathon; the five virgins who were “not of this world”.

So what are these fake miracles? In Apocalypse 13:13 it says: “And he [the beast] did great signs, so that he made also fire to come down from heaven unto the earth in the sight of men”. But this is speaking of a “beast with two horns” (v.11). If this is literal “fire coming down from heaven” are we to also expect that this “fire” performance is done by a Houdini looking like “a lamb” with literal “two horns”?

Modern people do not understand how the ancients tell a story in parable format. John speaks in allegory, vision, sort of a dream, a piece of wisdom. He tells it in hints as a story of what the church has to endure throughout the ages after John departs. This is a theme that runs all the way through the end of the Apocalypse.

Photo of Antichrist: from the One Thousand And One Idiots Guide To Prophetic Interpretations

Now seriously, which of the two portraits that more resemble the Antichrist? The portrait provided by the idiot who made the photo on the left? Or the portrait made by the possible idiot who made the photo on the right?

Never interpret Revelation word for word. Listen to it like a story:

“And I saw one of his heads as it were slain to death: and his death’s wound was healed. And all the earth was in admiration after the beast. And they adored the dragon, which gave power to the beast: and they adored the beast, saying: Who is like to the beast? and who shall be able to fight with him?”

“He was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that it could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed”?

John is dispensing prophecy in story telling format. Imagine being children and your father speaks of a beast coming after you. A beast is a threat. The obvious interpretation is that the prior beast kingdom which threatened and persecuted the children of God was wounded. John simply tells us, that this same beast is coming back to life again to hunt down God’s children once more.

So figure out the first beast, and you will figure out the second beast, including the very peoples involved.

This is simply a revival of a wounded kingdom—not an individual. After Rome, which was eventually christianized, the greatest persecutor of the Church was none other than the Muslim Ottoman Empire, which will revive again as the eighth head being a replica of the seventh. John was not only referring to the time of the end, but to the seventh kingdom which will re-arise as the eighth, in the end (Revelation 17:10-11). It is crucial to keep in mind that Prophecy was intended for the whole of Church history and not just the end-days. Revelation 9 for example was commonly interpreted to be the Ottoman.

There are always two camps. Even the confused are two camps. In modern times many Catholics study prophecy exclusively from seers, while they ignore scripture; while another camp, the Evangelicals, these study prophecy from scripture alone without the fathers. I happen to have delved in all camps: Muslim, Protestant and now Catholic. What can I say. The Lord works in mysterious ways.

Even the errors repeat twice. Israel missed Messiah’s first coming and when Christ comes again, we have five unworthy virgins missing the wedding. Everything repeats. Even during Israel, one camp had Messiah as the “suffering Messiah” (Messiah son of Yousef) while the other camp had the Messiah Who will “defeat Rome” and will be “King Messiah” (Messiah son of David).

Then Messiah showed up. And He was one Messiah coming twice.

So where the Rabbis wrong? No. It was the duty of each individual faithful to seek with all their strength in putting the two puzzles together. Both camps in ancient Israel were correct. Messiah will be a “suffering Messiah” and will also defeat pagan Rome by converting it later through His seed. What people lacked was the patience of Job.

Similarly, we also have the same beast coming twice; the “first beast” comes out of the sea to conquer one half of Christendom in Constantinople. Then that same beast gets a death wound and is buried in the earth to later come back out of the earth as the “second beast” to conquer the other half of Christendom: Rome.

When I was Muslim we used to say: “first we conquer Constantinople and then we will conquer Rome”. The Islamic threat  comprises the two beasts and the day when I studied scripture (as Muslim) it all came together.

The prophecy is for the whole of church history. Yet you still have people trying to find both beasts coming at once in the end times. Why? Its because the first beast (the Ottoman Turks) do not match the Vatican whom they insist is the “first beast”.

There is always two sides with one side that hates the other; a Cain and an Abel. One loves an elaborate service to God. So he (Abel) sets an animal sacrifice with fire and all, where the smoke pleases God’s nostrils. The other (Cain) simply offers fruit. Nothing changes. Today we have one side who goes elaborate and burns incense to please God’s nostrils. The other side says that God has no nostrils so he offers grape juice.

So which side is right and which side is wrong? The answer to this is very simple. Just google and see which side hates the other and mouths off the most. Always remember, Cain hated Abel. Find the hate and you found Cain. Find the quite one who does not even consider the hatred and you found your Abel.

Holy Smokes. Abel loves to dress up for the King’s Son’s wedding and loves Holy Smokes. He is always accused of nearly setting the church on fire. Cain on the other hand is known by his gluten free and alcohol free sensitivities by banning whole wheat Communion including all the Holy Smokes, since, Cain says “it causes cancer”. It will matter little to Cain if Antichrist bans gluten, the alcohol, and all the smoking that goes with it, while Abel prefers to die before he gives up his 2000 year old habit since old habits never die.

Christ always defies the interpreters who were limited. But only the meek were able to see it. Some had a piece of the puzzle, while others had the other piece, just as it is with Antichrist where John has one piece while Daniel has the other piece. The wise examines both pieces. The wise consider two comings, two beasts (the first out of the sea and the second out of the earth where the first was buried).

The problem is that whenever someone puts the puzzle together, the masses oust him out, since this new puzzle builder does not conform to either side of the two camps, yet he does, by putting both camps together. Yet the two camps refuse to unite. This, the puzzle builder has no control of since one camp has to accept Holy Smokes.

It is that new “John the Baptist type” who all camps reject. This is why he is a voice that “cries in the wilderness” and he is not found in the hauls of the churches. People must go out of their way to meet him and listen to his instruction crying “prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight his paths.”.

  • Answering the question about where the Antichrist comes from…I agree it is Turkey. After all, Revelation 17:8 says, “The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss and go to destruction.”

Was? Is not? Is? To me, that points to something that once exist before Rome, went under Rome, and yet is still around.

That speaks of Greece’s empire. Alexander the Great expanded the borders of Greece, entering Thrace and from there, it was a speedy conquest of the Middle East, and he was the only emperor to conquered one empire that not even mighty Rome could conquer – the Persia. Lo, we have now the Turks working to forge closer political, economical, and soon military alliance with Iran (always been known as the Persia). Even during the expansion of the Ottoman, they could not conquer the Persia and often fought bloody wars, only to be living side by side with the Kurds acting as buffer between the two competing empires.

It was the British and Russia empires that intervened and saved the Ottoman and Persians from annihilating each other. Perhaps God worked in mysterious way to preserve the two empires for future use.

To answer the question about lying wonders…I want to ask, “How was Muhammad able to convince million to follow him, even today?” The answer is through “lying wonders.” Was it not the wily serpent that filled Eve’s head with lying wonder that she would become like God? Today, nothing has changed as the wily serpent shifted his tactic to get folks to deny the divinity of Christ while simultaneously filling their heads with lying wonder that they can be like God without Christ.

Sufism…Hinduism…Buddhism…Arianism… all deny the divinity of Christ yet claim to be able to achieve divinity without Christ.

So…is Erdogan the Antichrist? I am leaning toward, “Yes,” and “Not quite sure yet.” It’s a contradiction because more details are needed to be fulfilled. I do know that he has been worshiped. He was able, with a simple command, to rally the entire Turks to defend Turkey against the very coup he approved and engineered.

All because he is pushing for a constitutional change to gather into his hands all the power. The AKP (hardliner, religious) and the MHP (nationalist, secular) are working in tandem to isolate, marginalize, and ridicule the pro-Kurd platform (HDP) and the secular CHP. I expect in the spring to see the referendum pass and become law. Then it will snowball from there as Turkey rapidly turn into a one-man rule designed to benefit one person who has been engineering all of this – Erdogan.

    • AnthonyM

I agree. It seems to me many false religions have their success by appealing to man’s pride. Men’s pride tell them they know better and are smarter than others, and they can figure out God, and worship him in the correct manner. But God uses the foolish to confound the wise.

      • Indeed. Pride is what leads to destruction, doesn’t it?

        • And Holy Smokes leads to Salvation.

          Pass the incense will ya.

          • Kevin Nicholson

Where there is sweet (holy) incense there is answered prayer and grace – adoption has its privileges!

          • Amen brother Kevin. Salvation is obeying the Boss and one of these is to dress up at His Son’s wedding and to burn incense. EVERYTHING the Boss wants leads to Salvation. EVERYTHING HE says WE DO. WE TRUST AND OBEY WITHOUT QUESTION.

          • Kevin Nicholson

Yes Walid indeed….very good doctrine and prophecy.

“Then Jesus said to all of them, “If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.…” Luke 9:23-24

          • chinese

GOD will said to Mr Walid,” Oh, rise up, my good and faithful servant. Enter into my Kingdom and have a good rest.”

          • Pray this gets fulfilled.

          • Kamau41

            BINGO!!!!! AMEN to that Kevin.

          • “Pass the incense will ya.”

“And Holy Smokes leads to Salvation.”

Question – how did Abel know that burning meat, the best choice meat, lamb, and smoke would please God more than just the first fruits of the vine?

          • “how did Abel know”

He was reading, especially Trevor’s comments 😉

          • Ha!

I believe he was taught by Adam on what God preferred and Cain thought he knew better since he was the firstborn.

          • Grandmere

          • Finally I got a Grand SNAP! award.

          • chinese

            Hee, Hee, Hee.

          • Kevin Nicholson

Foreshadowing of the lamb of God sacrifice….

          • Indeed!

The slaughter of animals performed by God to make clothing to cover Adam and Eve were prophetic and would lay the foundation to why animal sacrifice was preferred and why in Malachi 1 God finally declared He was going to abolish said sacrifice.

          • Kevin Nicholson

Yes, His body and blood can only make us one with God in the Spirit.

          • Kamau41

          • Kevin Nicholson

“He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption…The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean. How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!” Hebrews 9:12,14

      • All I know is that God like a lot of smoke Anthony. High Mass means more incense and a bigger cloud of smoke. Its Holy Smokes Anthony. It seems to get God’s attention. I finally figured it all out.

        • David W

And the Divine Liturgy of St John Chrysostom has lots of Holy Smokes. And there is the Wine and a grain offering. But NO electric guitars, drum sets, espresso machines or Hawaiian shirts.

          • “But NO electric guitars, drum sets, espresso machines or Hawaiian shirts.”

Thats unholy crap David. Anyone not dressed for the wedding will be bound, taken out where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.

          • Ratliff

            All my guitars are unholy.

          • mspip

guitar is harder to play than some think.

          • Ratliff

            Pick hard, fret light.

          • mspip

            must remember that!

          • Kkdgrace

            Laffing! Love the quick wit!

          • A guitar is like beer, it would be alright to drink it at home or in a party but it would not be alright to drink it during church service would it Ratliff?

Just make sure you get dressed up for the Wedding 😉

          • Ratliff

Don’t need consolation. I don’t resent having put that part of my life away. I can always find a place to drink guitar and play beer.

          • Tom_mcewen

Every evangelical knows at the last supper there was a three piece band playing electric guitars, drums, a light show, a sound engineer, a dance area, Starbucks, an altar call, Wonderbread and grape juice, Jesus gave his testimony, said listen to Paul, I leave this book of 66 books as your authority, please leave a nice tip to Mary who will be your waitress, just snap your fingers if you need a refill on coffee, be kind she has six children to feed, without a man at home.

        • Ceirwyn

Incense smoke is symbolic in the tabernacle for prayer. Every piece of what God laid out in tabernacle was to teach people how to approach God properly. God likes prayer so much he tells us to pray without ceasing.

          • In Revelation, an angelic priest filled the censer with smoke which were the prayers of the saints.

What we do on earth is a mirror of what’s going on in heaven.

Our Jerusalem is of above, free, while the Jerusalem on earth is in bondage to the bondwoman and of Arabian’s Mount Sinai.

          • Ceirwyn

Exactly. God wants us focused on how we’ll be approaching Him in heaven while we’re here on Earth so we don’t get too distracted by all the neat stuff He made. We’re easily distracted by shiny objects.

      • Kamau41

“But God uses the foolish to confound the wise.” Yes He absolutely does Anthony.

    • I think my mission is finished. I have passed what I know to another. Here, hang on to the scepter.

      • It started with Genesis laying the groundwork for salvation (burnt offering with meat, blood, and smoke), ending in Revelation with testimony of Jesus Christ’s blood saving along with smoke of incense, that is prayers of saints, being thrown into the clouds releasing thundering, lighting and hailstones.

God’s finally going to have His day in the court and blasphemers and deniers of the Sacred Scriptures and Traditions are all going to lose.

    • Kevin Nicholson

” Perhaps God worked in mysterious way to preserve the two empires for future use.”

      Yea sir:

“(for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented
in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)— if all this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.” 2 Peter 2:8-9

      • The British empire has always preferred the Turks while Russia preferred the Persians. Today, nothing has changed, as the British would rather deal with the Turks and the Russians continue to back the Persians, shooting down every threat of sanctions against Iran in the UN Security Council.

One day, the British and Russians will be forced to admit they should have trusted God and not the diplomacy process as preferred by many.

    • Constantine, question for you, you wrote:

“Secondly, he does not necessarily do these “lying wonders” himself; he does them via “three unclean spirits like frogs” (Apocalypse 16:14),”

Would it be possible those three unclean frogs could be the head of the Muslim Scholar body, the head of the Diynanet, and possibly Gulen himself?

After all, the head of the Islamic Scholar body declared al-Baghdadi’s caliphate to be illegitimate, and the head of the Diynanet is bankrolled by Erdogan’s party, and Gulen was a good friend of Erdogan who is claimed to have “million of followers.”

Just throwing it out there to chew on.

      • Yes Trevor. And now you can see how simple this whole prophecy is where one can see it as a headline “Turkey’s three ambassadors at OIC plead for all Muslims to join the Jihad.

Reuters. Istanbul The Turkish cabinet yesterday announced a call for Jihad … the three ambassadors … ”

        You get my drift.

    • chinese

It was the British and Russia empires that intervened and saved the Ottoman and Persians from annihilating each other.

It was a grave mistake they had done.

      • Mistake or God’s in this?

    • chinese

I expect in the spring to see the referendum pass and become law. Then it will snowball from there as Turkey rapidly turn into a one-man rule designed to benefit one person who has been engineering all of this – Erdogan.

If this happened, it is a great chance he is the Anti-Christ.

      • We must be patient and wait.

      • There is much more that needs to happen Chinese. We could be waiting for a decade or two or even after Erdogan is dead.

  • Brenda

It’s Dorothy’s Husband Stan from the Golden girls kissing Erdogan’s feet, LOL!

    • Pamela Sage

Unfortunately, I could not find the humor in the photo. I found that chilling. Even in Islam, that sort of prostration is supposed to be reserved for God. By prostrating himself like that, that man is saying he regards Erdogan as the embodiment of divinity. Of course, Erdogan desires this, as Satan wants all to bow down and worship him as slaves.

      • AnthonyM

The Erdogan picture is probably photoshopped.

        • You’re becoming too smart Anthony.

          • AnthonyM

When I was younger I was always ‘Too big for my britches’.

          • Pardon me Anthony, but I do not know what “britches” mean. I had first misunderstood it for something else and was about to condemn your statement until I read the letter “r”.

          • AnthonyM

Britches is another older rural word for pants. So it means acting or thinking one is bigger or wiser than their actual age.

On a side note, I just saw a headline on InfoWars about ‘Holy Smokes’ – Medical marijuana produced by Israel. I guess IW have been stopping by for lunch at your place. 😉

      • Its photo shopped Pamela.

        • Brenda

That was simply how I saw it and could not Unsee it Walid, Often when I am tired my humor kicks in and I recalled all of the Stans, Pakistan, Afghanistan, etc.. Now I was a tad reluctant of backlash because yes things are serious, Yet even in times of prolonged war I imagine men must had times of humor in order to survive the days, So I went with my gut feeling, The image yes seemed right off odd to me, But no I did not know it was photo shopped as you did.

          • DANTEcrossingtheRiverStyx

I always appreciate a good joke.

          • I understand. When fuzzy cats are sleepy, they do not see the mouse roaming roundabout looking for cheese.

  • Darren Neufeldt

I can’t argue with anything you have said. I think Erdogan is an antichrist, is he The Antichrist? only time will tell for sure but I would wager that he is trying to be.

    • No one knows Darren. We just watch.

    • Doc

It could be someone near him, too. Erdogan may be the precursor. At any rate, we are close.

  • AnthonyM

Lovely music to listen to while trying to come up with an intelligent comment…
Heck, I don’t have one. Good article.

    • Perhaps you can try to answer the Jesus style question without using Turkey as the answer. Makes a heck of a discussion while we listen to the music.

  • Coombes Larry

Have read. Will give a full response in time.

Too busy fighting flu to do much. This flu is bbaaaadddddd!

    • Reading my articles gave you the flue already Coombes? Better get well and in shape before you enter the gladiators arena 😉

      • Coombes Larry

Keep it in place. I will be there!

And, I warn you – well armed!!!

        • Multitudes said the same before thee and now you know why I am the only one standing. See you in the arena.

          • Coombes Larry

So you declare victory on the basis of a strong immune system?

Just give me time. Alas, as a teacher, I don;t get to have sick days. Every week at least one student faces a critical exam and my students are the ethnic Chinese… to whom exam marks equal ‘face.’ You don’t get to be ill… especially when you need those students as you are about to set your own business. Indonesia has enacted a series of regulations that now basically prohibit the employment if any and all foreign workers here. So I got to set up my own business as the only way out. Fortunately, my students and their parents have been begging me to set up for ‘myself’ for ages, long before the new regs, so I have a client base and it will stop the working six days a week… which weakens the immune system.

But, for now, I still got to get students through exams, while catching up with paperwork while fighting an entrenched flu. My wife has had it 8 days, I am on day 6 – though my wife is looking better today.

You can see where my priorities have to be!

When I respond… it will be properly! Wait and see.

          • Gladiatory games have no mercy Coombes. You should have considered this before you entered the arena 😉

          • Coombes Larry

OK, my life has just come to a halt.

While my teaching hours were dropping back, they have just gone to full strength with crash courses for students taking their University submission tests in December and January.
We’re talking 11 hour days here. Started today.
            With flu.
            Plus paperwork.

And these are intensive teacher classes – not ‘do the exercises in chapter 7 of the book while I have a sleep’ type.

Once again, my life outside of work has just been wiped out. This has been a feature of my life for the last seven years and why I have given up all hope of reasonable work/life balance outside of running my own business.

There is no way I can produce a proper reply at this time. Don;t think I am backing out! I can and will process this and give a full response!!! But like everything else in my life, it will have to wait until I escape the shackles of my current employment. Every promise I make I end up breaking as work steam rollers over me.

I am not formally and officially locked into work until January. I do not even have time to work out a teaching schedule for the students who want classes with me in January!

I also have to be careful what I type in public given the nature of legislation in Indonesia and the HEAVY Nationalism being pushed at the moment.
[I hold that Ahok will eventually be acquitted and the knees of the FPI broken because Nationalism trumps religion here. We shall see but, for now, foreigners cannot draw attention to themselves.]

Soooo… Give me time. I am fighting too many wars on too many fronts… and always will be while I am working for … anyone. I have had it with employers!

I will respond but I plan to do so properly with a fully thought out, reasoned document with citations and sources. But, like my anime club, I just cannot move for work. I will email the document as:

            a) It’s the only way my case can be properly presented – it will be too big for blog posts
            b) This has to be private correspondence due to heightened religious tensions here in Indonesia and… cause I is a foreigner!

That’s all I can do. And I won’t be able to revisit this until my escape from my current contract which will not be until January and even then I will have so much to catch up because… I can’t move for work!

I leave you with the video I made for my anime club… which has been waiting to happen for a year because of… work. I keep telling people it will happen but I know I will have no life outside of work until I work for me, myself and I.

Yes, fed up I am but looking forward to a new life next year.

          • Np problem Coombes, just train well, lest it would be a fast kill when you enter the arena. I intend to “win the crowds” that I may “win my freedom” since killing quickly will tarnish my record 😉

Thanks for the clip. Here is mine:

  • SuzyQ

Walid and Maria, this jumped right off the page to me: “see which side hates the other and mouths off the most. Always remember, Cain hated Abel. Find the hate and you found Cain.” This is what I found and the reason I wanted to return to the Catholic Church. Thank you for this article. It is wonderful and on point!

    • Wisdom SuzyQ is ‘reading between the lines’ while hatred is easy to track but difficult to avoid. Lately I notice the rise of racism SuzyQ and I hate it with a passion. I see Nazism growing all over the place these days. Paganism. All sorts of evil and it breaks my heart.

      • SuzyQ

That is also what I say, “What Next”? The more evil we see and it is heartbreaking.

  • Pamela Sage

I think the three “frog” spirits doing lying wonders may be demons posing as extraterrestrials. Many Muslims are already conditioned to accept them as jinn commanded by the Mahdi. Meanwhile, in the West, many UFO cultists, ancient alien believers, and New Agers are expecting aliens to arrive to bring humanity benefits and guidance. I think UFOs will figure in to the deception in some way. I wonder if the “fire called down out of the heavens” might even be a reference to spacecraft redhot from breaking through the atmosphere and igniting landing jets.

    • “extraterrestrials”

Are you American by any chance?

      • Grandmere

Chuck Missler is very entertaining sometimes. Too bad people take him seriously.

        • You know how many gentleman’s bets Missler lost? He would tel me that he had intel from Israelis that Israel will soon attack Iran. I told him “in your wildest dreams”.

The stuff sells I must say. His manager wanted to buy all my works and own it. Keith said the hell you won’t.

          • Grandmere

Oh, I can believe that, Chef. Chuck is a little bit to smart for his own good. He has started to believe a bit of what he used to throw out there with a wry little grin. I check up on him every once in a while. He’s still peddling his rapture tricycle.

          • chinese

Mr Walid is the best American Prophecy Teacher and yet he reply to me. I don’t think Mr Missler and the other bloodmoon fat guy would.

          • The meek shall inherit the earth Chinese.

          • chinese

That’s what Christ said. We better listen. I used to have a book on all the sayings of Christ, but lost it. I truly believe that if you can make a compilation of all that Christ said, you will know the narrow way to Heaven. As you have always used a Christ Type questioning. You get my point.

          • Grandmere

Why would a guy who believes in the rapture move to a nice doomsday compound in New Zealand? That’s what Chuck did.

          • Nan

Hedging his bets in case he isn’t one of the chosen; he can then make money off his other side business, taking care of pets after the rapture – I just made that part up.

      • Pamela Sage

Yes, why? Is it an American thing

      • Pamela Sage

Yes. I’m American. Do you know if this Adnan Ozcan personality who claims he and Erdogan talk to djinns and that the Mahdi and Isa are walking the Earth has talked about UFOs? I know that there have been a lot of UFO reports coming out of Turkey recently including an alleged mass sighting Nov. 27. You have Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Iran talking about the Hidden Imam arriving in a spacecraft. Then the fringe apocalyptic literature and websites get into UFO conspiracy material similar to that in the West. Wondering where it all fits.

  • Pamela Sage

“Holy Smokes. Abel loves to dress up for the King’s Son’s wedding and loves Holy Smokes. He is always accused of nearly setting the church on fire.” LOL. Sounds like Walid has met my priest. We have a problem with him setting off the fire alarm and bringing the fire department in his enthusiasm for powerful incense and generating the maximum amount of smoke. He also confesses that he has set communion napkins on fire. I’ve been concerned that one of these days, we will have a real fire at the church and the fire department will ignore the alarm figuring that Greek Orthodox priest has been setting off the smoke alarm again. He also possesses colorful vestments from the various Orthodox branches and delights in rotating them.

    • O you can’t imagine how I love Holy Smokes Pamela. I love High Mass. The incense and all. Send your priest my best regards.

  • Good grief DMB. Maybe you want take a jab at the Jesus style question in the article and tell us how Prince Williams fit?

    • They are becoming desperate. The EU Antichrist theory is being shredded by news coming out of the Middle East daily. They are trying to hold onto whatever theory that proves their interpretation of prophecy are true.

The five foolish virgins did not pay attention and chased after whatever made them feel good while the wise paid attention, labored, and cared for the oil lamp.

      • Ceirwyn

I’ve never heard of that theory. Some folks are just trying too hard.

        • Grandmere

          Two words – Left Behind.

          • Hal Lindsey as well.

          • ezekiel22

Call me crazy but I have written Mr. Lindsey a few times asking him questions respectfully of course. The end result was that he did not give the courtesy acknowledgement. My opinion then is that he qualifies as a false prophet working for profit. Pun intended. Sad.
Right now I am busy taking note of actions happening that seem to be heading to a prophetic culmination. Satan does not cede power easily.

          • I agree.

Satan is deluded in thinking he is winning.

        • The theory goes that when the club of Rome came together it kick started the revived Rome empire which became the EU.

Big proponents of the theory includes Dr. Jack van Impe, Hal Lindsey and Dr. David Jeremiah.

The problem is their theory are being blown up with the Brexit and more rumblings of defections talk.

They also forgot that Rome’s empire encompass almost all of the Middle East and the long stalling process for Turkey’s ascension to the EU is only making the theory look laughable.

  • Well thanks brother Rom. The way things look pretty soon we will soon start thinking we are nearly extinct. God says there are seven thousand Elijahs who did not bend the knee to Baal. I only see a handful.

  • Good grief, you’re filling the blank with whatever you want. Try to answer the Jesus-style question.

    • Grandmere

I’ll go get nurse Susan and see if we have a bed available on the third floor.

      • Kamau41

We need to find her quick!

  • 1) No
    2) Takes an entire book to show how Job is prophetic. One day I will do it.
    3) Yes, I think its spelled Just search “Shoebat” and “Mary” and spend a year or two reading. An article a day keeps Luther away.

    • Higlac

I now understand why you’ve no love for Martin Luther, and yes, he was bad enough, I’ll grant you that.

However, he could have been still worse – e.g., Calvin, Knox, De Bèze, Zwingli – these didn’t believe in church music or art, whereas Luther did keep those things and thus prepared the way for such musical giants as Dietrich Buxtehude, Heinrich Schütz, Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy and – greatest of all!!! – Johann Sebastian Bach. [And yes, I’ve heard of a few high-Lutheran churches that DO include incense, maximum liturgy, &c.]

[While the Baroque period isn’t truly my favourite (aside from organ music – and even there I’m a Romantic at heart**), there’s no question about J.S. Bach’s High Mass in b-minor, BWV.232, being one of the greatest summits of all Western classical music; and this opening movement ( – fancy that, a fully-Catholic HIGH Mass written by a Lutheran composer!!!!) is as great a section thereof as any can conceivably ever be!!!! Enjoy…]

** = Dear Ladies & Gentlemen, PLEASE KEEP PRAYING for me and for my having the still-closed doors of that “church” opened to me so I can again start enjoying “my” Lieblingsorgel (“darling organ”) – it’s now over 11½ years, O WEH!!!!… otherwise let Him Take me away from this EVIL world!!!!!

      • Enjoyed the Bach. There are lots of great Protestants for Bach I loved but Luther I hated.

I see you want to play the organ. Did I get that right?

        • Higlac

Yes indeed, I dearly wish to return to the organ – and very specifically the particular instrument hinted at as being the best and coincidentally the largest in my area and a full 100-km. radius. I was expelled from there (the specific base) after very nearly 18 years of very generous privileges thanks to a sodomite organist who was an extremely-insecure individual and couldn’t tolerate the least possible initiative that wasn’t HIS. He tricked me into set-ups and then got the minister of that place at that time to order me to return the church-keys and then had me officially expelled by the Church-Board. Without their officially reconsidering their decision, there’s no way I can ever touch that instrument again (and in order for me to handle all of the repertoire in question, only that organ in my area can do the trick). It’s now over 11½ years since those most-disgraceful EVILS occurred…

Compared to the organ, I just don’t feel that happy at the piano; and a smaller organ just is insufficient. To boot, my personality problems make me unattractive to all too many people, which is why I frequently think this world would really be better without me.

  • I knew you will pop up to complain about Catholicism Mel. It proves my point 😉 had you remained silent it would have proven your point. You lose this time Mel.

    • Ratliff

Have to agree Having been among the Antiochian Orthodox Christians for a year now, I can say they don’t bad mouth the Protestants. On the contrary, my priest loves to compliment the Evangelicals for knowing their Bibles.
However, after a lifetime of being around Protestants, there is no shortage of misinformed people condemning Catholics to hell. Not all, mind you, but many.

      • mspip

my family was and is protestant. that being said i am not at this time in any church. thinking of looking into orthodox. my last one was a spin off of the worldwide church of God. yes, the protestants did bad mouth catholics. that is wrong.

        • Ratliff

The difference is mind bending. The 4th Century liturgy of St. John Chrysostum is like a sung participatory group prayer.

          • Kkdgrace

I LOVE the liturgy of St. John Chrysostom. Others listen to current music and/or talk radio while driving. I crank up the Divine Liturgy. Along with some favorite Orthodox chants. Doesn’t matter if many are in a language I don’t understand- my soul seems to understand- that’s where I feel it most. And feel it deeply.

          • Стефан Евгений

Here K, have a listen. also see what’s new going up in Moscow.

          • Kkdgrace

Thank you for both! The Liturgy literally brought me to tears…too beautiful for words.
And I remain so impressed with the Orthodox in Russia- they truly know how to build up the most spectacularly beautiful places for worship.

          • Стефан Евгений

can you do a google translate? if not i found this
i hardly ever go to the English side, the translations are so bad somtimes.
here is how the doors to the new church are being cast

God willing, a new Orthodox Tsar will come out of Russia and the Anti- christ will fear him.

          • Grandmere

Thanks for this. We ordered that incense you told me about. Holy Smokes!!!!

          • Стефан Евгений

Holy Smokes is right!!!! this is really High End stuff, don’t go all Anglican and use 3 spoons full!!!!!! a small amount will do( like 2-3 lumps) you will smoke them out. The large lumps show that it is high quality .
This is where it comes from, It is from BBC TV……
give me some fee back and let me know how it goes.
Have a Happy Christmas, Dear Baba!

          • Kkdgrace

Thanks for the link. I was able to read the article. Originally I tried to get the gist of the article by using a translation dictionary- didn’t get too far with that. I did recognize dates in the article and that is why the questions. Thanks again!

not familiar with that. will try to look it up

          • Ratliff

Go to a service, mspip. I doubt you’ll regret it. It’s they way the early church did things; it hasn’t changed.

          • mspip

thanks. there is orthodox church about 50 miles away. will look into it a little more than i have.

      • chinese

I do not know who will go to Heaven, Catholic, Orthodox or Protestant. But I know the SURE way is to follow the Penitent Thief, St Dismas. His faith and sincerity save him. Christ immediately said to him,”Today, thou shall be with me in Paradise.”

        • Ratliff

          Wise, Chinese.

          Some from all, I reckon.

          Luke 9:49, 50.

“This time around, it is Christ’s fury on His face where “the fishes of
the sea, and the birds of the air, and the beasts of the field, and
every creeping thing that creepeth upon the ground, and all men that are
upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence” (Ezekiel 38:20). Christ is present there.”

Walid, is it possible that Christ will begin at Egypt (Coptic church) to lead His army to destroy Anti-Christ?

“When Israel was a youth I loved him, And out of Egypt I called My son.” Hosea 11:1
    Also Matthew 2:13.

    • I recall Walid writing an article where he made a strong argument that Egypt would be Christ’s first stop to rescue the Coptics.

Another thing…it was from Egypt that the first defense of Christ’s divinity came before the formation of the Nicene council.

      • Kevin Nicholson

Thank-You Trevor…will research the Coptic church.

        • It was the Coptic’s late pope writing, Pope Shenouda III, that caused me abandon every prejudices I held against the apostolic church.

  • Ozibarb

Holy Smokes. Great article, love it. This week I celebrate 1 year of being a catholic. Best decision ive ever made. And 1st anniversary of wedding vows in the Catholic church, as we were married in a registry office 42 years earlier.

  • Steven

I’m sure my grandpa would’ve loved reading these articles on the Antichrist, since he too pointed to Turkey from where this beast will rise and slaughter Christians. You’re just practically repeating what he used to tell me. Lol!

That Jesus style question is definitely on point by the way, since it challenges people to think and study before throwing around that US/UN Antichrist nonsense. They think America is the focal point of all end times Bible Prophecy, or at least, every verse that doesn’t mention “Israel”.

  • FF

Regarding the first part of your article, here is what Al-Monitor published last week, citing Turkish academic scholar Musa Kazim Arican:

Islam’s ideal president is a “man who possesses all the virtues,”

”This all-virtuous man could be called the “Doctor of the World,” because he would heal all the ills of society. He would even “give life to man, breathe to him a soul, and herald a new resurrection.”

    Here’s the link:

So how does that resolve Pergamum as the seat of his power? The UK gonna take over Turkey?

  • Grandmere

Are you kidding? How about Bulgaria, or Spain, or Denmark or the Czech Republic, etc, etc, etc.

    • Tom_mcewen

The Czech republic no way, God does live in the south of France but he does like the hiking trails and beer when he visits Czech.

  • Julie LaBrecque

I absolutely love the quip under the photo of Mass!!

    • You too love Holy Smokes? Truth is much easier to find: avoid sophists, find the ones who hate and avoid them and always look for the ones who say that EVERYTHING Jesus says SAVES. So if the Boss asked to dress nice at His Son’s wedding we do it because that saves. The liars say that only one particular thing Jesus said saves and if we follow ONLY that then we are “saved”. These are the liars. The truth seekers want to please the Boss. Thats it. That is the formula to salvation, so if the Boss wants Holy Smokes, by golly, HE GETS HOLY SMOKES. Never argue with BOSS Jesus.

      • mspip

have been a truth seeker for many years, now finding even more!!

  • Doc

God always picks the least likely to be his spokesman. An ex-terrorist and humble Muslim unlocks the keys to Christian prophecy? No way, right? Why, Hal Lindsey must be wringing his hands. Surely the man who interprets prophecy correctly will be a lifelong Bible scholar and have his own TV show.

Wrong! Look for the most humble among you to be the one God chooses for his purpose. That is a clue that you are on the right track.

  • Julie

    What a wimp.

  • Remember that Revelation describes two characters that are prophesied: the antichrist (the Beast) and The False Prophet. The demonic duo work together during thee end-times Great Tribulation period of deception and persecution in the world:

    Revelation 19:19-20

19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Additionally, Islam also teaches that there will be two individual persons that appear during the end-of-days; Hazrat al Mahdi and Isa’ (the Islamic version of Jesus Christ). It also appears to me that the prophecy represents the two systems that are made up of the political and religious control over the world during the time of antichrist. Thus, antichrist (al Mahdi) is the political ruler and Isa’ (false prophet) is the religious ruler.

Also, interesting to note, in Islamic theology: al Mahdi rules for seven years and is killed while Isa’ continues for a short while, dies and is “buried” next to Muhammad.

    • P.S. when I posted the above info, the comment number was “66”…close enough? lol

    • chinese

I heard of this too. Is-lam is the opposite of Christianity. Our Beast and false prophet are their Saviour and our Christ is their end time Enemy.

      • Yes, Islam has a “parallel” teaching that is exactly the opposite of Christianity.

The following info is from Islamic theology; everyone can then form his/her opinion about the significance of what this really means:

“According to these reliable, authentic, and universally accepted narrations, Mahdi will:

1.Be from among the family of Prophet(SAW), among the
        descendants of Fatima(RA);

        2.Have a broad forehead and pointed noise;

        3.Appear in one night;

        4.Appear just before the day of judgment;

        5.Have same name as hazrat Muhammad(SAW);

        6.Escape from Madina to Makkah where people will pledge allegiance to him;

        7.Receive pledge and help of Iraqi people;

        8.Fight in battles;

        9.Rule over the Arabs for seven years according to Sunnah;

        10.Spread justice and equity on earth;

        11.Eradicate tyranny and oppression;

        12.Lead a prayer in Mekkah which Jesus(pbuh) will follow in;

13.NOT be the same individual as the Promised Messiah (Jesus).”

        Islamic Jesus

Allah’s Apostle said, “By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, surely
(Jesus,) the son of Mary will soon descend amongst you and will judge mankind justly (as a Just Ruler); he will break the Cross and kill the pigs and there will be no Jizya (i.e. taxation taken from non Muslims). Money will be in abundance so that nobody will accept it, and a single prostration to Allah (in prayer) will be better than the whole world and whatever is in it.” Abu Huraira added “If you wish, you can recite (this verse of the Holy Book):
        — ‘And there is none Of the people of the Scriptures (Jews and Christians) But must believe in him (i.e Jesus as an Apostle of Allah and a human being) Before his death. And on the Day of Judgment He will be a witness Against them.” (4.159)

Allah’s Apostle said “How will you be when the son of Mary (i.e. Jesus) descends amongst you and he will judge people by the Law of the Quran and not by the law of Gospel

  • “The Old Testament symbols and smokes are bridges to spiritual worship.”

Tell us then, how do you interpret Malachi 1?

    • “For from the rising of the sun even to its setting, My name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense is going to be offered to My name, and a grain offering that is pure; for My name will be great among the nations,” says the Lord of hosts. ”

Can’t spiritualize this one away especially where God said incense will be offered to His name and a grain offering is pure – speaks of the Eucharist.

Nope. Can’t spiritualize it at all. Have to accept it is the real thing.

I’m wondering if a group will come out and insist that Donald Trump is the anti Christ? Maybe some already have.

    • Nan

Nah, the people who are against him aren’t religious and it wouldn’t occur to them.

  • Your comment have the following problems:

#1 – you are missing two crucial elements that made up the body of the beast.

#2 – your geography is way, way off. The Lord directed the angel to Daniel to dictate to him things that will happen and the Lord Himself pinpointed seven geographical locations that dropped hints where to expect the Antichrist to come from.

Now that you have been shown your problems, you have a homework assignment to determine the two missing elements and to locate the geographical locations. Happy hunting.

Could the unclean spirits out of the mouth be __1st. A demonic utterance from satan (the dragon), followed by 2nd. Demonic fatwa from the Islamic headquarters (the beast) then 3rd. Demonic call to obey from the false prophet (antichrist). ?. Just thinking out loud.

As someone raised in an evangelical church, I assure you the catholics (at least in the US) are not the ones ranting the most about hellfire judgment. No one can rave about how much you need to get in the covenant with Christ more than evangelists. They eat, sleep and and drink it. They have a 90% conversion rate among their kids because they see everyone, even their own kids, as needing salvation through Christ. It’s why they’re the only denomination in the US not shrinking: They just can’t stop sharing the gospel.

Strange I tell the people, I need to apply final varnish or maybe correct something and they don’t want me closer then a billion zillion km to the painting. I ask is that trust.

Walid, you are a “John the Baptist” type.

Well Said!, Mr Rom. Mr Walid is saying,” I am one calling out from the wilderness, make straight the path of the Lord, for the times is at hand.” for the second coming of Christ.

  • Julie

Walid, Catholics aren’t orientated towards prophecy much. They want us to focus on God’s will for today. A priest said if they came out fully on what they have been taught, they could come across as fundamentalists as well…..

    • Its wiser not to enter the prophecy arena until we get nearer to the fulfillments. I enter it primarily to squash and bust the myth.

      • Julie

        So so true.

I would listen to the prophecies at Mass of Isaiah in relation to the coming of Christ at Advent as a child.

Heard Hall Lindsey speak when I was 20 at a secular college, and Ezekial 38 made sense…wondered about the Soviet Union, and yours cleared it up…more like ‘Lurkey’. He did point to a passage in Rev 12 as one being taken up to the throne prior to his time…alluding to a future pope..who we think is Pope JPII. Some stated Mary’s intercession caused his life being saved…but that is another dispute.

The other I was told by the sisters as a child that the Jews’ return to Israel was in the bible.

We tended to see Revelations as Christians as ‘our’ prophetic works, and so much of it was mysterious, beyond us.

Sr Lucia of Fatima said we are living in Rev 8 to 13. My father said before he died that unfortunately we could be living in the time of the anti Christ. A Polish American priest told me coming back from a talk that the anti christ is already alive but works in the background.

Only lately did I come across online that most priests look instead to Dan in the OT for future prophecies.

There is an American priest, Fr Dianini, who studied in Rome, and the entire Catholic and Protestant apocrypha writings, and they caused him to fall back on the Early Church Fathers who pretty much figured it out…and it means nothing to anyone living in between up to now…..

Rev 8 to 13…and it will be those who never lied and remained celibate who will be raised to lead the future Church where we will all be under One Pastor, One Church, all divisions and heresies ceased.

So for me, it is rather, what kind of hell will rule the earth to finally break down the flesh and self will to allow such a great grace to break out from this ‘infection’ of evil, this hell a lance to break open the grace of the Lord Who is coming….to return to reign in the hearts of men…

The coming reign of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the Epoch of the Holy Trinity.

Er, tanks. But I think it is just seasonal flu.

My wife has it and loads of students! It’s because the rains have broken and the temperature dropped here. Don’t worry, I will engage but I intend to do it properly. That will take time, and needs a clear head!

Walid God Bless you for trying but does anyone really believe most of the world will not recognize the antichrist when he appears?

This is one part of the subject that no one really addresses.
With all the movies , articles, and books out about the antichrist ; does anyone really believe we will be surprised or not know who he is when he steps out onto the world scene?

Watchman on the wall ; I get that ,but with all the warnings out about the antichrist ; even the atheist will be screaming ” IT’S HIM” when he step out.

    • Grace Ziem

Many will be deceived, and it is very dangerous to be cocky about this: Mark 13:22 “For false christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect” The identity of the antichrist will surprise some until too late.. that is Satan’s whole plan, sir, to steal more souls!

  • Where does the Bible say that the seven kingdoms are excessively sent for Israel? They inflict all God’s people.

And how do you know that #7 is “revised Rome” when the Roman Empire fell in Constantinople by Muhammad II in 1453?

I would like you to answer the Jesus-style question in the article.

    • Tom_mcewen

What happened did the local loony-bin institute a new policy of allowing community visits by the inmates for religious enrichment of the blog?

  • Turkey is not Shiite. Turkey is the King of the North.

  • Curtis,

In Islam a Caliph is also a Prince. Look it up “Prince of the faithful” or “Ameer Al-Mumineen”.

Turkish Fatwa-giver, Hayrettin Karaman and also the Diyanet which was already established in 1924 “to execute the works concerning the beliefs, worship, and ethics of Islam” in Turkey declared Erdogan a “prince”.

Karaman declared his new design for the Caliphate saying that Erdogan will soon become the Caliph for all Muslims. Here are his exact words:

“During the debate on the presidential system, here is what everyone must do so while taking into account the direction of the world’s national interest and the future of the country and not focus on the party or a particular person. What this [presidential system] looks like is the Islamic caliphate system in terms of its mechanism. In this system the people choose the leader, the Prince, and then all will pledge the Bay’ah [allegiance] and then the chosen president appoints the high government bureaucracy and he cannot interfere in the judiciary where the Committee will audit legislation independent of the president. ” Hayrettin Karaman

Is Karaman, Turkey’s Fatwa giver, simply ignorant of how Sharia works or how a Caliph is appointed or how a Caliphate constitution is designed and is carried out?

Isn’t Bay’at, as Islam calls it, which is “giving allegiance,” is the hallmark of the Antichrist as John declared: “but the fatal wound was healed! The whole world marveled at this miracle and gave allegiance to the beast” (Revelation 13:3).

Erdogan becomes Ameer al-Mumineen (أمير المؤمنين) “Prince of the Faithful”.

“The Prince,” is exactly what Daniel 9:26 predicted. He will be the “prince of the power of the air” (Eph 2:2).

This is how Muslims give allegiance. They repeat aloud: “We give bay’ah (allegiance) to the Caliph of the Muslims, the Prince of the Faithful, to hear and submit …”. They say loudly while they raise their index finger in declaring that God is a singular God, and by that they denounce the Trinity, an aspect of Antichrist (1 John 2:22).

When a Caliph becomes the leader of Turkey is literally becomes: “prince of the faithful” or as “chief prince of Meshech and Tubal” (Turkey)

Also Qaradawi declared Erdogan “prince” ….

There is much more, but this should suffice for now.

  • Jude 1:25,

Thank you for “desde el cielo una hermosa mañana”. The day is coming when we will all sing this:

For they will persecute in Mexico for believing in Christ and in Our Lady of Guadalupe. I being from Bethlehem (Belen) did not realize how much Our Lady of Guadalupe had so much hidden meaning:

“Remember we Mexicans are not the enemy, even with all the calamity that has burdened us for some time, and thanks to your own government arming the heartless here.”

The only reason I want a wall was to stop the drug problem that is caused by drug consumption which is America’s fault, but we must also combat the cartels as well. This is a subject we wrote on and we do help the suffering in Mexico through one heroic priest. Let us know if there is any need. My heart goes out to all Christians in Mexico. Viva Christo Rey.

    Stay in touch.

Proof please. Show me your proof that these two battles are different and I will show you million proofs why they are NOT different. • ezekiel22

You might want to take note of the agreement between Turkey and Israel allowing for pilgrimages to Jerusalem by muslims. That is researched extensively here by Walid. Look in the archives. What you do need to do is to give reasons as to why Mr. Shoebat is incorrect. Geographically though he is spot on as to the home of the Anti-Christ.

  • ezekiel22

In answer to your first question yes, people do have direct communications with God. It is called prayer. Yes, He always answers. Sometimes He does not answer them the way people want but He does answer.

  • mspip

    a creepy guy for sure

  • knightsstrength
  • Grandmere

    It’s in the eyes.

  • It is always “prayer is what God wants” and ignores the part that God wants obedience.

Second, you now have the burden of proof that God did away with incense and smoke. That is part of the problem.

I will trust 2,000 years of Tradition and Scriptural teachings instead of yours.

  • I cannot find anywhere in the Scriptures the age of the Antichrist.

The mark of the beast is actually easy to identify as the creed that goes with it. Hint: look at the original Greek number and look at the Arabic scribe. It stunned me the first time I saw it. The answer many time are in the face but few saw it.

Second, the early church fathers such as Irenaeus gave a very extensive profile of the Antichrist.

Third, Erdogan already is being worshipped as a god and I came across some startling quotes made of him here –

  • Grandmere

He will “confirm a covenant”. It doesn’t say anything about signing a peace treaty.

    • Kamau41

Exactly!! That’s a HUGE miss by so many. Yet, the text says exactly what it says.

  • And your sources are…?

  • Tom_mcewen

The Romans had a superstitious fear of the dead, the Roman law stated that no dead could be buried within the city limits. Where St Peter’s is over a graveyard where Peter was entombed. The catacombs was selected where to have Eucharistic services because the Roman soldiers would not go into the domain of the dead. The Romans had a real horror of the relics of the Saints the Christians carried. The strange rooms you refer to are the family tombs, the Romans didn’t bury their dead but placed them in vaults. A different culture, there almost no burial of women, since their status was so low, female babies was tossed in the Tiber, where the Christians would wait to rescue them.

Prince Andrew you think may be the anti-Christ, and you don’t believe that is a SPAM comment?

I am a Christian but l am a straight and honest commenter, that’s why God like me!

Obviously, you think that you are a Christian, so l will say to you brother as a favour to you, stop acting as if you are feeble minded!

Sorry if l hurt your feelings but if you accept the fact, then in future you will be rewarded because someone needs to help you as God did not appoint you to play the clown! Life for a Christian is not a pantomime, and you are not a mug vessel with a joke comment on its outside. You could at least aim for bronze pot status, that’s not too difficult for a Christian, instead of a stupid joke pottery mug with a crack down the middle!

  • Tom_mcewen

Sorry but I doesn’t matter what the KJB or the KJV says, the bible is written in Greek and meaning there are the authority not English. The 44-45 KJB translators had difficulties translating Koine Greek since they were separated by 1500 years since it was spoken. St Jerome is a better guide, He spent 40 years living in Bethlehem ( house of bread) learning to understand the place of culture and language itself shapes meaning. Sorry Words are a communication between individuals trying to share mental concepts with are difficult within cultures and almost impossible between culture, I will take those closest to the events not those 1500 years later.

Prince Andrew is a member of the British Royal family, l am British and not a leftwing communist so l respect the Royal family. I don’t appreciate that fellow DMG or whatever he’s called being abuse about Prince Andrew, saying that he is the anti-Christ. So, l will rebuke him, and all l have said to him is basically exactly what you have said to me, ” that he should try to be a good vessel for God instead of a cracked pottery piece”. That’s good advice from a Christian to a Christian.

  • Yeah that’s what I thought.

    • Tom_mcewen

The bible given by the Catholic Church. Strange they always forget that.

      • Or that the Bible wasn’t canonized until the 3rd or 4th century and the printing press was invented much much later. Everything had to be copied by hand, time consuming and expensive.

        • Tom_mcewen

Strange people, they believe in the seven days of creation but not in John 6. Nor in fact in history before 1611 AD.

          • They pick and choose what to believe. I am convinced the Church was right to protect the Bible from the people because so many have abused the Scriptures.

        • Nan

Never mind that most people were illiterate so having/not having a Bible in Latin or the vernacular was a moot point.

  • I went to Mexico in ’98 or ’99 on a missionary trip and it was a beautiful, rugged country. If it weren’t for the abundance of rattlesnakes, I would seriously move there. The climate was bearable and the lack of tree pollen would make my seasonal allergies go away.

The people there are friendly, and yes, very hard working folks. It’s the damned cartels doing them in.

  • I’ll take a stab at answering this.

    1) The “desire of women” could easily be explained with the cruel mistreatment of women in Islamic societies. Muhammad was known to lust after women, even if she was married to a man, and one narrative had him receiving a revelation from allah that commanded his best man to divorce his wife so Muhammad could marry her. Islam permits every men to have up to four wives and as many concubines they desire as long as they could afford it. The Shoebat also documented how Islam permits hom*sexuals as long as there was a strong male and the other male was submissive. As Walid once said, Islam is a religion of loopholes.

    2) Muhammad came from a powerful Arabian tribe that once worshipped 360 idols and until his conquest of Mecca, Muhammad was tolerated by his kin until he started preaching against the worship of idols. He was banished from Mecca and fled up to Medina, another “holy” site in Islam. When he gathered sufficient strength (read arms), he came to Mecca bent on conquest, and the people of Mecca surrendered without a fight. Muhammad ordered all the idols to be destroyed, mounted his favorite camel, circled the black cube seven times, and touched the black stone, instructing his followers that by doing that, their sins would be forgiven. It is why Muslims to this day continue that practice.

In my judgment, Muhammad fits all the criteria of being the Antichrist, yet one thing prevents him from being so, he eventually died from weakened immune system due to poison and a broken heart at the death of one of his infants. The biggest thing that would determine the Antichrist is the death caused not by human hands. In the words of St. John of Damascus, eyewitness to the rise of Islam in the 8th century and the first to truly critique Islam, Muhammad is the false prophet.

The reason why I, and few others including the Shoebat, feels that Sufism is the vehicle of the Antichrist is due to two things: Sufism claims to predate Islam, connected itself to the Egypt’s Mystery School of Esotericism, and attached itself to Islam because it completely denies Christ as the Son and God, and second, it also teaches that there are more than one way to heaven. Sufism is a very, very deceptive and dangerous movement. Unfortunately, it has not stopped some of the gullible western governments in declaring Sufism as an acceptable alternative to the Saudi’s Wahabbism (think Puritans). Sadly, there is even a Facebook group called Christian Sufism, so even some Christians are embracing the errors of Sufism.

If you take some time and read through some of the Shoebat’s research in Sufism, it will shock you.

  • Dora Braza

The antichrist must be a jew since they will wrongly think he is the messiah. They would never accept someone who is not jewish. They will discovery the mistake only on the 42 months. The Bible says the Messiah comes from David descendants. It doesn’t matter where he is born but he must be a jew. He can be born in Israel, Russia, Turkey, Europe or America. I beat he is born in America. Who is trying to change the climate? America e Vatican through UN or Russia and Turkey? Who is trying to impose a NWO/Globalization? And who is uniting all the religions under his wings saying we are all sons of God? I have heard for so many years that the prophecy of Daniel 7 (the four beasts ) is a reiteration of Daniel 2 (the statue of Nebuchadnezzar) until I found a study that finally makes sense. There are two separate sets of four kingdoms.
The study is to big to put here but if you want to see google: The Lion The Bear and the Leopard (christian Media Research).

  • Kamau41

Unfortunately, you are wrong Paul. This is why you definitely need the Catechism of the Catholic Church. “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.”(Rm 10:17)

  • Grandmere

The earliest Christians didn’t have either the Bible or the Catechism.

  • Genesis 3:16, “[…]your desire will be for your husband[…]”. There have been numerous fatwa issued that demand all women comply with her husbands needs, regardless whether she feels up to it or not. This is not how God intended it for women to be treated, but that is how Islam allows their women to be treated.

  • Grace Ziem

Paul, I’m a protestant, and you’re wrong, you need to read your Bible more carefully. It’s dangerous to miss the real antichrist! You will end up being afraid of the pope (who makes mistakes but isn’t an antichrist), and you won’t assess Islam correctly.

  • Grace Ziem

What is your reference that he will declare as a Christian?

  • Nan

Not just the Vatican catacombs but other places too.

  • Nan

The Catholic Church is Christ’s Church and is traced back, through Apostolic succession to St. Peter, who had the power to loose and bind; whatever he binds on earth is bound in heaven, whatever he looses on earth is loosed in heaven.

Note also that the Inquisition served to save people from mobs by subjecting them to the Inquisition; the Inquisition took place over 350 yrs and about 300 people were put to death as a result.

You’re saying that Martin Luther alone decided that the Catholic Church isn’t the Church that Jesus founded; meaning he, himself founded a church, therefore his church isn’t valid.

Latin is the Universal language of the Church which is one reason the Bible was copied in Latin. I say copied because until Gutenberg’s printing press, it was impractical to print the Bible – it was hand-copied at monasteries. The populace was mostly illiterate so having a copy of the Bible in the vernacular was a moot point as they wouldn’t have been able to read it; however, vernacular copies of the Bible being banned was a result of a situation in one location.

Nice try though; you’ve been sorely deceived by the hate of your pastors for the True Church.

  • “I’,m neither protestant nor Catholic, and don’t call myself a christian anymore,I would rather say I am a follower of the Messiah of the Bible.”

So you are one of the “followers of the Messiah of the Bible” denomination?

    • Tom_mcewen

Why do I bet he as a non-catholic or non-Protestant he as a follower of the Messiah of the bible uses the Protestant bible. Christian? According to St Ignatius or Luther, Zwingli, Calvin, Knox, Bob Jones, James White, MacArthur…..

    • Grandmere

Just, wow! These Judiazers are popping up everywhere.

  • I haven’t abandoned my Arabic letter idea. I simply say that nothing is conclusive until Antichrist shows up plus I noticed that westerners get glued on these types of issues so much that I stopped talking about it. They like the visual more than the spiritual. Not a good way.

  • Grandmere

So you put your hand of the plow and then looked back? You deny that Jesus is the Christ? You deny the Lord who bought you? Sounds like you have gone apostate. You have been listening to some ear tickling heretics.

  • All these you type and not once have you cited any source.

Your claim about emperor Constantine is patently false. If it were not for the emperor, we would not have the formal defense of Christ’s divinity, which is a big freaking deal even today.

To wit, a heretical priest, Arius, began to teach that Christ was never divine, that God was not a Father until Christ was born, and became a father, and so forth. Numerous of bishops subscribed to his teaching and his teachings would have become the norm if it were not for the stubborn resistance of an Egyptian bishop, St. Athanasius, whose works exposed the numerous fallacies Arius taught.

Constantine, after having issued the Edict of Milan in 314 AD to make Christianity tolerant among other religions, sought to have peace between two camps of Christianity – Arius’ heretical views and Athanasius’ orthodoxy views. At first, he offered to mediate between the dispute between the two men and when that failed, he followed the advice of his Catholic advisor to call a council.

Over 300 bishops from within Rome’s jurisdiction, and without (which included Persia, never conquered by Rome by the way), came to Nicene where they listened to the arguments presented by both Athanasius and Arius. Constantine, before allowing the council to begin, told the bishops they had better things to do than to settle dispute, but to do it quickly.

By an overwhelming majority, the council approved Athanasius’ orthodoxy over Arius, and condemned Arius’ teaching, giving us the first formal defense of Christ’s divinity.

    The Nicene Creed states:

We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of all things visible and insibile; and in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the only-begotten of his Father, of the substance of the FAther, God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father. By whom all things were made, both which be in heaven and in earth. Who for us men and for our salvation came down [from heaven] and was incarnate and was made man. He suffered and the third day He rose again, and ascended into heaven. And he shall come again to judge both the quick and the dead. And [we believe] in the Holy Ghost. And whosoever shall say that there was a time when the Son of God was not, or that before he was begotten he was not, or that he was made of things that were not, or that he is of a different substance or essence [from the Father] or that he is a creature, or subject to change or conversion – all that so say, the Catholic and Apostolic Church anathematizes them.

    Source –

The Council, following the model after the Jerusalem Council of Acts where James, being bishop of Jerusalem, presided over the council, and also based on an ancient advice to Moses from his father-in-law, with the emperor’s blessing defended Christ’s divinity.

The Council, also following the model of St. Paul’s defense of the Gospel he was committed to by Christ and by the apostles in Jerusalem, “But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed!” (Galatians 1:8).

No matter how you slice or dice it, your view of the Catholic Church, which is coming from an extremely suspect source(s), are in error.

  • The codex matter not. It always reads Bismillah:

  • Grandmere

Is that place still in business? It almost destroyed my sister’s life. To this day she does not attend church.

  • Paul,

Can you give us a name of a single believer from 100 AD – 1500 AD whom you consider “believer” from the church the Messiah created?

    You can’t and you won’t. 100% guaranteed.

    You know why?

Because you are incapable of doing so because you don’t know much about what you are talking about.

Now watch how you come back empty handed.

  • Paul,

Can you tell us about the Jesuits from primary source accounts?

Or do you first have to look up “primary source accounts” to know what primary source accounts are?

The problem with your comment is that any dumb person can make it.

  • “by following Him and His written word.”

    His written word says:

“Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.” (Hebrews 13:17)

Can you name me your leaders who are keeping “watch over your soul”?

Are you obeying this? If so how and what are your leaders names?

What, you can’t provide any names? You are in complete disobedience to the Word of God? Yet at the same time you seem to instruct others to “obey the word of God”?

    Rebellious souls.

  • We don’t have to know you, your comments speak for themselves. His name is not Yahusha. You don’t even know how to pronounce His name.

You do not know that the use of Yeshua as a name for the Savior is an evolved pronunciation that came from English speaking Messianic followers who miserably failed to properly pronounce Hebrew. First of all, the ending in the name Yeshua (what sounds like “ua” or “oowah”) is an American attempt that mispronounce the last Hebrew letter in the name. The last letter is aiyn (ע), a rough, guttural sound not found in Greek or English.

Millions of poor souls like you are duping themselves. They do not even realize that the Hebrew letter aiyn does not even exist in English and is never pronounced with the “oowah” sounding. In the ancient Hebrew world the letter aiyn just as the Semitic letters Khaf and Cheit are extremely difficult for westerners to pronounce.

Plus the NT was sent to us in Greek not Hebrew.

  • HA HA HA HA HA! You are priceless. You are going up against a mountain of well documented history and you cannot even cite ONE source.

    You lose. Again.

  • Grandmere

What are the correct sources? You never reveal your sources. Why be so secretive if you know where the truth is to be found.

  • “I never said his Name is Yeshua,I said YAHUSHA” Joshua’s Name in Paleo Hebrew as “Yod Hay Waw
Shin Ayin,” this is exactly how we spell Yahusha’s Name as well.”

You screwed up already. You wrote “Yahusha”

Which does not end with the Aiyn. Show me the aiyn in your Yahusha you wrote above?

It is not there. Therefore according to your argument, and to follow your strict rule we use the proper name of God, here you DID NOT and you have SINNED greatly against the name of God.

I don’t have time to address the other 100 errors you made to show you are in a cult.

  • You simply don’t know what you are talking about and per usual talk out of the rear you sit on.

  • No. You’re source is not the Bible but your own private interpretation of it since you provide zero from primary sources. This is “the doctrine of men”.

We have two sets of interpretation, one that has been tried and approved for two thousand years and another: your own private interpretation. Which should we believe? Yours?

  • Why should I tell you who they are? You are the one who accused them and brought their name “Jesuits”. It is incumbent upon YOU to provide evidence of what you accuse.

You speak as if you have authority and foreknowledge of everything you say. For example, you made the dumb comment here:

“I know you won’t publish this walid, but read it because you are deceived”

You said “I know you won’t publish this”.

Yet you were wrong. I did publish your stupid comment.

Yet you act as if what you were about to write is so eye opening and controversial that we will not post it and you predicted a false prediction, yet you are too blind to see how you are arrogant and self-deceivived yourself to think you are a prophet who speaks two or three words of Hebrew and thought of yourself as having a direct line with the Almighty when in reality you are a cult and nothing more. Try to reason with you doesn’t help because it is not reason that you are looking for, it is a repetition of the locust where you just keep chewing time and effort to sap the real Christians.

I don’t have time for locusts.

  • Yeah read about that and there was a call for the government to investigate for fraud. I think there was a school closed in Nevada over fraud.

  • It gets much worse than this, I’m afraid. Read the latest article by Walid.

Jesus was going after the Pharisees for heaping up all kinds of arcane rules. He walked and picked grain on the Sabbath. He healed on the Sabbath. He touched lepers and even dead people. All forbidden by the Pharisees. He didn’t criticize the ancient temple worship, which included incense and animal sacrifice. Stop being overly focused on the New Testament and see the big picture.

Empirical evidence doesn’t support your belief that you are informed by the Holy Spirit. If you formed a control group who claimed the Holy Spirit and those who claim no such a thing, I doubt you would uncover any universal truth of outside your cultural understanding. You do know there are 48152 Protestant confessions all reading the same Bible scripture coming up with entire different meanings. There is a bias in all Bible readings, especially if you read English. Sorry I take my education from Dr. Martin Luther who used the Holy Spirit to claim that Jesus committed adultery with three women one the woman at the well two the woman caught in Adultery and last Mary Magdalene. Prove him wrong. , Zwingli used the Holy Spirit to inform him the Eucharist was only a symbol, there is more then enough physical signs that he is wrong. Question, if the St Ignatius who was taught by St John, apostle, Bishop of Ephesus the framework of Christianity and you say something opposite from St Ignatius, who should I listen too?

What you claim is voodoo, you don’t have the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will teach you all things, At T0 when the big bang happened what caused the formation of gravity to one part in X 10 to the forty, there was a theory that there was six types of quarks, up, down, left, right, strange and charmed. But now we work on one with two types of spin. These which sometimes exist and sometimes don’t exist make up the physical universe, ask your Holy Spirit what is the life time of a quark and tell him I am amazed at the logos Divine reason and creative order which is the foundation of the universe before space and time. Because all your friends believe the moon is made of green cheese doesn’t mean it is. You are talking about the Third Person of the God head, You Don’t have the Holy Spirit. Tell me want caused the extraordinary expansion of the universe at 1 X 10 to the -44 second at the Planck length. The Holy Spirit who talks to will know

The church is the pillar and foundation of truth. Part of that truth is not lying to yourself.
