Erdogan Is Planning To Convert Hagia Sophia To A Mosque Declaring A War Between The Crescent And The Cross

By Walid Shoebat (Shoebat Sunday Special in advance)

In a speech last week, President Erdoğan said that a recent decision by the European Court of Justice just sparked the war between the Cross and the Crescent. To send a message of this war reports reveal that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan could be planning to punish Europe by praying at the Hagia Sophia this coming Friday and even possibly converting the Temple dedicated to the Son of God into a mosque.

So how will Christians in the West react to all this? Answer: the bulk majority of the West will follow the Antichrist. Difficult to believe or comprehend? Just keep reading.

“The European Union, they started the war of the cross and the crescent. There is no other explanation,” Erdoğan said.

The European Court of Justice ruled last Tuesday on the cases of two female employees in Belgium and in France who were dismissed for refusing to remove their hijabs.

But Erdogan praying at the Hagia Sophia is inevitable regardless if it happens this Friday or at some point in time in the near future.

So how are we to process all this? Are we to expect a war between the Cross and the Crescent as Erdoğan puts it?

We need to beware when rumors of wars are announced, especially since last year, when the media alluded that there was going to erupt a war between Turkey and Russia, instead of witnessing a war, these two united. The same will be between Turkey and Europe. Initially these, like Russia, will cooperate with the spirit of Antichrist. The wars will only erupt at the tail end.

In today’s world, headlines reverse overnight. Politics take advantage of every situation where today’s enemies might become next month’s allies. Erdogan’s attacks on Europeans will help boost votes for Erdogan’s April 16th referendum to permanently change the constitution (change set times and set laws) so that he becomes supreme ruler.

Such boosting was also the case for his attacker, Prime Minister Mark Rutte in the Netherlands. The only reason for Rutte’s attacks was to stave off a challenge from the openly  anti-Muslim Geert Wilders, and by mimicking Wilders he provoked fury from the Turkish government by blocking Turkey’s foreign minister from the country. This gave him just the boost needed: 86% approval in the polls on how he handled the Turkey situation. This boosted Rutte giving him the victory.

You think the idiot on the left knows what he is doing and is more cunning than the devil on the right?

Likewise, preventing the foreign minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu who had planned to rally expatriate Turks in Rotterdam, ahead of an upcoming referendum in Turkey will boost Erdogan’s cause for his coming referendum and this will gain him the votes he needs to become supreme ruler.

People are unaware how fast prophecy is moving.

Rutte, if he truly cared about the rise of Muslim Turkey he would realize that attacking Erdogan in this sensitive time would boost the man to become supreme leader over the Muslim world.

Just think of the timing. One day before voters choose a new parliament, Prime Minister Mark Rutte was boosted by a wave of approval for his feud with Turkey’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Now Rutte returned to office victorious as the head of the country’s largest party. This same boost will be for Erdogan’s referendum which is probably the most significant and important historic event that would change the course of history as we know it. Turkey will install Erdogan’s plans in response to Europe.

But if this war is between Cross and Crescent, as Erdogan declared, Rutte is no Christian saint. He is just like the darling of the western ultra-conservatives Geert Wilders, both support infanticide, euthanasia, eugenics and abortion.

Wilders after all was a former member of Rutte’s center-right VVD party and usually what happens to Ultra-conservatives like Wilders is that (as we warned will happen) they get gulped up by the more stealth bigger fish of the same kind.

In reality, it matters nothing which of the two won. The plan of a presidential election campaign in Germany also serves this purpose.

Yet conservatives get excited at such victories. The whole game, especially in a time where some serious decisions with voting by Turks to permanently change their constitution (change set times and set laws), the timing couldn’t be any more perfect in boosting wolves in sheep clothing and removing the shackles that held the Ottomans and the spirit of Antichrist from re-arising to power again.

Mark my words, come April 16th, the constitutional referendum held in Turkey on Sunday, 16 April 2017 will pass and alter the Turkish constitution permanently. This will give the office of the presidency more power making Erdogan the supreme leader and icon of the Muslim world.

Jesus warned that in the last days things will be in reverse, that when headlines say “war” as we see Erdogan declaring a war between Cross and Crescent, that in reality its “rumors of wars”. Christ warned, it is when the Antichrist says “peace” that war is on the horizon.

In today’s world where things are in reverse, the majority foolish ‘conservatives’ are lazy servants. Their ears are easily tickled and they quickly go to sleep, but the few wise are not easily excited and they are fully awake, stubborn against evil, steadfast, refusing to have their ears tickled.

Think in reverse. These days, what sounds good and what tickles your conservative ears is pre-planned to have people vote the way of evil.

Erdogan may possibly transform the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul into a mosque before the April 16th referendum as demanded by nationalists and Islamists for years. Such a step would at the same time be a symbolic departure by Turkey from the West.

Europe of course, won’t give a damn, since the Hagia Sophia is an icon of the Christian East. The games being played as ‘good-cop bad-cop’ are igniting two dangers; two springs, a Muslim Spring and a European Spring. History will reveal that both will threaten the entire globe.

But converting the Hagia Sophia into a mosque should be a major issue for all professing Christians. The Turkish Minutes reveals:

Turkey’s historic Hagia Sophia museum will be converted into a mosque, and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and officials from the Justice and Development Party (AKP) will perform Friday prayers there, according to a report in the Sözcü daily on Monday.

The report, written by Zeynep Gürcanlı, claims that the move will be aimed at increasing “yes” votes in a public referendum to be held in April.

“Amid the cross versus the crescent discourse, there is serious talk at the presidential palace about plans to end Hagia Sophia’s museum status and open it to Muslim prayer at full capacity,” Gürcanlı wrote … In a speech last week, President Erdoğan said that a recent decision by the European Court of Justice against two female employees in Belgium and in France who were dismissed from their jobs for refusing to remove their headscarves started a war between Islam and Christianity in Europe.

“The European Union, they started the war of the cross and the crescent. There is no other explanation,” Erdoğan said … Erdoğan has been using an increasingly anti-European discourse recently due to some European countries’ refusal to allow Turkish government officials to hold campaign rallies for the upcoming referendum.

A constitutional package which will be voted in the referendum will introduce an executive presidency in Turkey if approved.

Three years ago warned predicting that Hagia Sophia will be desecrated as “tens of thousands of Muslims have been gathering there on Saturday to pray demanding it will again be turned into a mosque — a dream they believe Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan can fulfill.”

“Hagia Sophia is a symbol for the Islamic world and the symbol of Istanbul’s conquest. Without it, the conquest is incomplete, we have failed to honor Sultan Mehmet’s trust,” Erdogan said back in 2014 citing a 15th Century deed signed by the conquering Caliph and decrying as sin other uses of Hagia Sophia. To Erdogan, its a symbol of reviving Ottomanism and that he is the man of the century, the revived Sultan Mehmet the conqueror of Constantinople from western secularism.

Erdogan talks of conquest, and now he warns “a war between the Cross and the Crescent” is reviving the dead man of Europe painting his Neo-Ottoman dream as a Crescent red dragon coming after the Cross (the Church). Erdogan is daily becoming an Antichrist who wants to enter a great Christian Temple, yet he is met without any resistance from western Christians because the Christians are falling away, Europe the center of Christendom, has no real conservative Christian base.

From its construction, until 1453, when the Ottoman Empire conquered the city, Hagia Sophia served as an Eastern Orthodox Temple and the seat of the Patriarchate of Constantinople, the Ottomans turned it into a mosque before being secularized and converted to a museum in 1935.

Its the Eastern Christians, the Orthodox Christians who see Hagia Sophia as a Temple to be the most significant structure in all Christian history.

2 Thessalonians 2 describes a desecrating of God’s temple:

“for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who oppose and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” (II Thessalonians 2:4)

Many would pause here and stop reading further since such a scenario is far-fetched; a Muslim Antichrist who enters Hagia Sophia is the fulfillment of 2 Thessalonians 2? But please continue and understand why most are lazy servants, confused, deceiving while being deceived to accept the very Antichrist whom they supposedly warn about.

Hagia Sophia is insignificant and unimportant to most Evangelical western Christians who insist that since the Hagia Sophia was built for the first time by the emperor Constantine the Great (306-337) and since they consider Constantine as a man who mixed Christianity with paganism, this makes this place insignificant in their view (read our refutation of this view here).

That, plus Antichrist is supposed to enter the Temple in Jerusalem and that he must come out of Europe, not Turkey, which renders this whole issue as insignificant. They insist that the Antichrist comes out of a revived Roman Empire, which must be ushered out of Europe.

So we have two situations here. One where these western ‘conservative’ Christians support this Europe Spring yet at the same time they insist on such scenario that the Antichrist must spring exclusively out of Europe.

But this is the irony of ironies. If these support a Europe Spring this means that these will follow the Antichrist, especially since whatever springs out of Europe (and by using their own analogy) that Europe must become Anti-Christian, why would they support the rising populist ultra-conservatives there who are hardly Christian?

And indeed Europe’s conservative movements are nothing but anti-Christian that support euthanasia, abortion, infanticide and homosexuality. Yet they clamor behind these new European political movements just because these claim to also be anti-Muslim.

But is being anti-Islam enough evidence to give a political entity a clean slate?

No. Communist Russia was anti-Muslim as well. While they suppressed the Muslims in their southern sphere in  Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kirghizia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Volga-Ural region and the North Caucasus, yet they also suppressed Christianity seven folds more in Russia itself.

Communist Russia proves that being anti-Muslim does not necessarily mean they are pro-Christian.

Today’s rising conservative movement in Europe is no different in that they support Eugenics, the very element that plunged Europe into Nazism.

And if the issue is to deport Muslims out of the West, the Soviet government conducted a series of deportations of Muslims to Siberia and the Central Asian republics. Treasonous collaboration with the invading Germans and anti-Soviet rebellion were the official reasons for these deportations. Six of the seven (non-Slavic) nationalities of the Crimea and the northern Caucasus that were deported, Crimean Tatars, Chechens, Ingushs, Balkars, Karachays, and Meskhetian Turks, were predominantly Muslim.

The mass deportation of Crimean Tatar Muslims began on 17 May 1944 in all Crimean inhabited localities. More than 32,000 NKVD troops participated in deportation of 193,865 Muslim Crimean Tatars were deported, 151,136 of them to Uzbek SSR, 8,597 to Mari ASSR, 4,286 to Kazakh SSR, the rest 29,846 to the various oblasts of RSFSR. According to NKVD data, nearly 20% died in exile during the following year and a half. Crimean Tatar activists have reported this figure to be nearly 46%.

Should Christians rejoice at this? No. Christians were also persecuted.

Most do not understand that the Antichrist cares not for humanity, be they Muslim, Christian or Jew.

So whats the fuss over Antichrist and his origin be he Jewish, Muslim or European?

What counts more is his theology for he denies the Trinity “This is Antichrist, who denieth the Father and the Son.” (1 John 2:22).

Turkey was considered the sick man of Europe, it was also considered as part of Europe. So that still qualifies as part of the revived Roman Empire.

But let us assume that we were wrong this whole time and that Antichrist does come out of Europe proper (the West) as our opponents insist.

This still would consume many into following the Antichrist, especially the Protestant and Evangelicals since these today support what is arising in northern and central Europe from the Alt-Right, the populists and the ultra-nationalists.

I can give my opponents some latitude to even assume that when Daniel predicted that Antichrist will “not honor the god of his fathers” makes his fathers god as the Christian God. So now he does not honor the Christian “God of his fathers” since he is an apostate western European who could care less about Father and Son.

This would be a plausible argument.

But my Jesus-style question to these is this: why do today’s Protestant/Evangelicals rush into supporting these movements and their newly formed parties ran by apostate Christians knowing full well that these are eugenists? Yet the conservative Protestant Evangelicals love them.

Ironically when we initially wrote that Antichrist is likely to be Muslim, it was rather a divide amongst the evangelical Protestants and the Messianic movement, where most hailed at us with scorn insisting and persisting vehemently that Antichrist must come out of Europe from a revived Roman Empire, while a remnant portion believed our report that the Antichrist could indeed be Muslim.

The irony is that what is arising in Europe’s conservative movement are the ultra-conservative, Alt-Right eugenists and neo-fascists. These definitely are of an anti-Christian spirit having only a “form of godliness”. They fit perfectly as wolves in sheep clothing.

So how could ‘sheep’ love ‘wolves’ while knowing they are ‘wolves’?

In other words, when we said that Antichrist was Muslim, these scorned at us insisting he comes out of Europe, but now that we somewhat yielded a bit, to see that what is arising in Europe is an anti-Christ spirit, especially amongst the conservative movement there, yet these ‘sheep’ are still angry at us for exposing these movements.

So when we finally said that they could have a point, that there exists a slight chance for an Antichrist to come out of Europe, they are still antagonistic towards us for exposing their anti-Christian idols.

In other words, while they insist that Antichrist is European, they want to follow that very Antichrist spirit in Europe, because it is labeled as ‘conservative‘.

So to make my point bluntly (not as I was not very blunt already), these want to follow the very Antichrist system that they so much have been warning everyone about.

And you think you are immune?

So in reality God matters little to these people. It is no wonder why these would sanctify Mitt Romney, a Mormon heretic and insist that the man was “Christian” to later on hate the man for his mouthing off against their newer idol, Donald Trump?

Such an abominable and wicked generation full of the devil and on their way to hell.

And I can almost bet, that Antichrist, if he is from Europe proper, these would follow him even if he abandoned the God of his fathers and even if he converted to moderate Islam, they would still follow him because he can easily tickle their ears by using conservative jargon.

You think that this is impossible? Think again. Just take a look at these so-called Christians of today. These people love conservative whatever. ‘Conservative’ Milo Yiannopoulos being gay made no difference to them, just as Muslim Zuhdi Jasser is considered ‘cool’ because Muslim Jasser has the title ‘conservative‘ and speaks against terrorism.

In reality, these all created a new religion called conservatism which is hardly even conservative.

Since when does conservatism support infanticide, homosexuality, abortion, euthanasia, Mormonism and only hate Islam?

This is why we will continue to expose their idols and would care less to see them scorn which makes us mock their idols even more.

After all, a wolf in sheep clothing is an Anti-Christian in Christian garb. In reality these masses are not Christian. Therefore, the Antichrist will initially express a facade of admiration towards Christianity while he denies the Trinity just as a Mormon Mitt Romney or Muslim Zuhdi Jasser does.

If the western conservatives followed Mitt, why would they not follow a German Muslim Turk winning the elections in the future of Europe so long he says he is ‘consrvative’?

Northern Europe will follow such a man just as most American conservatives followed Mitt Romney.

It is not far fetched that the Antichrist could be a homosexual European German Turk of Jewish ancestry and a moderate conservative Muslim who in the future will win some major European election and encompass Turkey into the European continent.

This would make just the type of Antichrist who fits all of our theories perfectly and where we squabble and argue no more.

He would be a boy-loving Milo Yiannopoulos and a Mitt Romney and a Zuhdi Jasser all in one.

He would be a darling of both western and Muslim conservatives worldwide.

And if you think that Muslims would care if their man was a boy lover think again. Almost all of the Muslim Caliphs were pedophiles. And if you think that western Christians care that their darling is a boy lover just look at how much these so-called Christians love Yiannopoulos.

Again, what a wicked and adulterous generation full of the devil and on their way to hell.

After all, I could be wrong and we could have the false prophet and an Antichrist being separate individuals where the false prophet is eastern and Antichrist is western. No one knows for sure.

Antichrist serves a “foreign god,” which he shall “acknowledge” and via warfare he “advances its glory”, the glory of this single-war-god while he proclaims himself as deity.

Erdogan by invoking to pray at Hagia Sophia wants to be Sultan Mahdi in order to be exalted above all of creation and literally wants to sit in the Temple of God in Hagia Sophia.

But what if he wasn’t the man and the conservatives must await someone else, more stealth, more cunning and more encompassing? Only time will tell.

But my point still stands, so many are the people who fight over who the Antichrist will be while their spirits are of that very same spirit of Antichrist whom they supposedly expose yet they follow and are likely to even support the Antichrist’s Abomination of Desolation. After all, Antichrist “will stop the sacrifice and grain offering [Communion]”. Tell me, how many of these modern Evangelical churches even celebrate Communion? How many talk Bible and ignore:

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. . . . And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts. (Acts 2:42,46)

On the first day of the week [i.e. Sunday, the Lord’s Day], when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul talked with them, intending to depart on the next day, and he prolonged his speech until midnight. (Acts 20:7)

“Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. (1 Corinthians 11:25–26)

“I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst . . . . Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him.” (John 6:35,55–56)

Ever notice how today’s Evangelical churches seldom celebrate the Eucharist at all — as infrequently as once a month, once a quarter, once a year or even have dispensed with it altogether?

Evangelicals propose that this abomination of desolation happens at the Jewish temple sacrifices re-instituded be only be in Jerusalem, while many Orthodox Christians object to such rebuilding referring to John 4:21:

“Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.” (John 4:21)

It is no wonder why the Antichrist would slip in unnoticed. The Antichrist stopping the Eucharist would be praised by many of these since they view the Eucharist as a ‘pagan sun disk’ .

But “sitting in the Temple of God” and “stopping the sacrifice and grain offering” are two issues not one and in 2 Thessalonians it does not speak of the Temple being in Jerusalem. But this does not negate that it could be in Jerusalem either since Revelation speaks of measuring the altar and that the Gentiles would tread foot in Jerusalem for 42 months …

But Isaiah 14 holds a key. While most brush through the verses in Isaiah 14 by doing selective reading without focusing on every word, verse 13 says:

“I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north.”

What is this “mount of the congregation”?

This declaration is not regarding Lucifer in his angelic stage, but Antichrist “is this the man that made the earth tremble” (v.17) and is said to rule from Pergamum (Revelation 2:12-13) which Christ proclaimed would be the future seat of Satan (Antichrist). This “mount of the congregation” is on the sides of the northern lands in Asia Minor—Turkey. It is in Turkey that the Seven Churches and the Seven Lamp stands were and this is no small issue to ignore.

Others see this “mount of the congregation” as the temple in Jerusalem. This is not without merit:

“… the joy of the whole earth, in mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.”

But Hagia Sophia is the most important Christian Temple in the East, built in the mid-4th century and then rebuilt during the reign of Justinian the Great. It should be a concern for every Christian on the face of the globe, yet its not.

But how often do the fallen away see the signs of the times? Israel were looking for the Messiah and they too failed to see the signs of His First Coming. What makes us seriously think that the Second Coming would be any different?

It won’t.

The unfolding events would be in such a way that the fallen away would follow the wrong man just as the bulk majority of Israel followed Bar Kokhba instead of Christ.

Likewise will the bulk majority of professing Christians will follow the Antichrist. What do people think when 2 Thessalonians calls it the Great Falling Away? It is a major event where the bulk majority of professing Christians will follow the Antichrist just as Israel did in their day.

Believing that you are immune from taking the mark of the beast is folly. One has to be extremely wise, especially in our days where most follow the crowds while the Bible clearly states that the Antichrist if he can will deceive even the elect.

And in case people want to argue that Hagia Sophia was not considered the “Temple of God” for Christians, they need to search history. Sophia is the Wisdom of God. This phenomenon has always caused a lot of interpretational difficulties for researchers, resulting for example in the diversity of translations for Hagia Sophia temples in the literature (church/cathedral of the Holy Wisdom, God’s Wisdom, Divine Wisdom or even – incorrectly – St. Sophia).

An excellent research by Zofia Brzozowska of the Katedra Historii Bizancjum sheds much light to answer this question. The understanding of the Hagia Sophia cathedral as a temple dedicated to the Son of God is also characteristic of several writers contemporary to the founder of the reconstruction of the Constantinopolitan basilica – Justinian I the Great. Procopius of Caesarea (ca. 500 – ca. 560) repeatedly mentions in his writings that the main metropolitan church was known as the church of the Holy Wisdom, because it was a name recognized at that time by the Byzantines as the most suitable for God as a name of his sanctuary. (1) So literally it was understood to being The Temple of God.

And if you think that the masses cannot be easily deceived just look at the above photo. Here stands an elect President who was from a Muslim background and Erdogan. Two abominations who are standing in the holy place at Hagia Sophia. Americans voting for someone from a Muslim background is not unusual and he is only hated because he was in the wrong party. Had he been ‘conservative’ they would adore him just as they adored Mitt Romney whom they now hate. Then we have Erdogan who can play the secularist and the Islamist like a chameleon and he too is adored. The end-times is not for the fickle and the apple-sauce consumers who sway with the tide.

And how many Christians objected at the above photo?

An interesting composition, containing a detailed description concerning the construction of the temple of Hagia Sophia, was written probably during the reign of emperor Basil I (867–886). In this work we can discover a number of essential components of East Christian sophiology. First of all, just like in the case of Byzantine writers of the 5th–6th century, the anonymous author says that the Constantinopolitan basilica was (in the eyes of the inhabitants of the empire) a church dedicated to the Only Begotten Son and Word of God. (2)

In the 11th century an attempt to explain the invocation of the Constantinopolitan cathedral an amazing construction to foreigners—was undertaken by a West European author. An anonymous traveler from Tarragona in his description of the capital of Byzantium emphasized that its main temple is dedicated to the Son of God, and the name Hagia Sophia points to one of the attributes of the Creator, the Wisdom of God (Latin Sancta Sapientia), and not – as it was claimed in the West in his times – a saint named Sophia. (3)

A clear statement that Hagia Sophia is a temple dedicated to Jesus, the Son of God can also be found in a medieval Byzantine normative source. A Chrysobull by Emperor Manuel Comnenus, dated 1153, states that the Constantinopolitan cathedral was built in honour of the Saviour. (4) Interestingly, the theme also appears on the pages of a 13th century source of Slavic provenance (Old Russian), known as the Pilgrim’s Books (Книги Паломник), written by Dobryna Jadrejkovič from Novgorod the Great, also known in the literature under the monastic name (Anthony of Novgorod), who traveled to Constantinople between 1200 and 1204. In the itinerary written after the return, he described many Byzantine objects of the capital, including the Hagia Sophia basilica, whose name according to him should be understood as the Temple of Wisdom and Word of God. (5)

In the work dedicated to Theodosius of Tărnovo the author calls the Constantinopolitan Hagia Sophia – a temple of the “Wisdom of God’s Word.” (6)

The preserved source material justifies the thesis that in Byzantium, regardless of the era, the cathedral basilica was conceived primarily as a temple dedicated to Christ – the Incarnate Word of God.

Most of the Eastern Church Fathers and later Byzantine writers (Justin the Martyr, Athenagoras of Athens, Clement of Alexandria, Origen, Methodius of Olympus, Eusebius of Caesarea, Cyril of Jerusalem, Athanasius of Alexandria, Gregory of Nazianzus, Gregory of Nyssa, Cyril of Alexandria, Theodoret, Athanasius the Sinaite, patriarch of Constantinople Germanus, Theodore the Studite, Symeon the Metaphrast, Symeon the New Theologian and Philotheus Coccinus) leave no doubt to the readers that the personified Wisdom of God they meet in the Old Testament, is a symbolic representation of Christ – the Logos before Incarnation.

Therefore, Hagia Sophia, having been dedicated to the Son of God, does qualify as The Temple of God since Jesus is God and this is exactly what the Antichrist wants to denounce making himself as God sitting in the very Temple of God.

In Second Thessalonians, it does not specify which Temple Antichrist sits in, it could be Hagia Sophia or Jerusalem, or even with all the other verses, both, even including the Vatican.

While we all argue the different biblical points, one thing is for sure, our silence on Hagia Sophia while millions of Muslims surround it like wolves, is shameful. Here, this is your heritage, this is your Temple, weep and pray:

Yes, I would think that anti Christ Erdogan (or successor) would want to plant himself and Islam in Hagia Sophia, the Temple in Jerusalem, and The Vatican. Walid has to painstakingly supply evidence for what he says, but his “blunt” approach that he mentions sometimes using goes to the heart of a matter. April 16 will be an interesting day as Erdogan puts another block into the foundation.

Indeed….April 16th and beyond will be quite interesting.

This year, Easter falls on the same day for Catholics, Orthodox, Anglicans and Protestants. This is momentous. As the Catholic, Orthodox and Anglican hail Jesus as King and offer up the sacrifice, Erdogon will seek to stop the sacrifice and have the world hail him as King. This is a time for self examination and penitence.

I never thought of Christians following the Antichrist to be the great falling away, but you make good case. The sad thing is that most Christians don’t nurture or water their faith any more than they have to. Faith is not a life insurance policy that one purchases and then forgets; it’s a life to be lived daily.

What else would the great falling away be?

I’ve always thought it would be a return to the pagan religions of the ancient world: not Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, or anything like that but back to animism or something like that.

        • Grandmere

All of the ones you mention are PAGAN. If child sacrifice on the altar of convenience is not pagan (even in so called Christian nations) then I just don’t know what to say.

          • Doc

I guess I should have used the word “heathen.”

          • Grandmere

Heathen/pagan. Same thing. “Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?”

          • Doc

I don’t want to get into an argument, but I’ve always considered “heathen” to mean ignorant of the Truth, either willfully or circumstantially, and “pagan” to mean rebelling against the Truth. If those aren’t the right terms, so be it. What I considered the “great falling away” was to willfully or circumstantially shun the Christian religion and return to a form of animism or spiritism, or no religion at all (which I do see occurring). I considered those people would eventually be absorbed into the Antichrist system against their will. What Walid has opened my eyes to is that a lot of people will probably embrace the Antichrist system (at least at first) assuming it is Christian and the Truth.

          • Grandmere

Heathen definition. If a heathen does not accept the Christian God, that means they are not ignorant of Him. Paul covered this in Romans. Heathens always devolve into pagans.

          • Grandmere

The falling away involves people who profess with their lips to be Christian. It doesn’t involve non professing people shunning the faith. I hope this helps..

          • I guess the happy medium between your argument and Grand’s is syncretism. Some fallen away Christians would be combination burritos where they mix in Islam with Christianity or neopaganism with Christianity, socialism with Christianity, homosexuality with Christianity … In other words, they will be a cluster mess. As I always like to use the word MUTANTS.

          • Doc

That description is what I would term “apostate.” Once again, my terminology may be wrong and that’s why I went into detail.

          • In my book you are alright Doc. You too, just like Grand make great falafels and have good grasp of what makes a great recipe 😉

          • Doc

Thanks, Walid. We are all warriors in Christ, fighting in that holy trench while we wait for our Blessed Savior to rescue us. Pass the ammunition.

          • Grandmere

Amen, my brother. I wish you a Holy Lent and a blessed Easter!

The Hagia Sophia has got the Islamic message up in it that states there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger. May even have writings that say God has no Son. As far as l am concerned, it became a mosque as soon as Islam conquered it, and changing it to a museum then back to a mosque is little different.

Indeed The Hagia Sophia is a beautiful historic Christian Church, but the real church were its congregation. It’s what happened to them that is the real atrocity! The Christian people should be compensated for the theft of their glorious church! It’s wrong that a religious people can just steal the buildings, silver etc, of people of a different religion. However, there will be no compensation or remorse for the atrocities inflicted and imposed on Christians by Islamics.

    • Стефан Евгений

Flame, The Turks are afraid of the church ,and fear the crosses inside it. Try as hard as they may they can’t cover all the crosses. they keep showing through the plaster.

      • Cuzick

The second paragraph of the article is very interesting that the muslims are afraid of the rise of Orthodox Christian identity again. Their fears are warranted.

        • Стефан Евгений

I got an email from a Russian guy that knew a Turk who said around Haigia Sofia at night it smells like a church with all the people burning incense.

          • Cuzick

That is awesome. An earth tremor to shake off the blasphemy covering the beauty inside would be nice on April 16th.

          • Grandmere

They have earthquakes every day. Turkey lies on a huge fault zone. It will be catastrophic.

          • Стефан Евгений

Grandmere, don’t you think it odd that a Japanese guy wants to uncover the “Jesus” in the dome?
Here is a good doc on Earthquakes and Hagia Sofia.

          • Kamau41

As we already well know, the fault zone below Turkey, is a ticking time bomb.

          • Стефан Евгений

Cuzic, that has happened several times in history, the icon of the Theotokos in the apse was reviled that very same way.

          • Cuzick

The next quake will hopefully knock down the four minarets and reveal more Icons while the original structure remains intact, just before the call to prayer.

          • Стефан Евгений

And the Sultans tombs where the Atrem was implode.

          • Cuzick

Amen. The Lord will have the last word.

          • Стефан Евгений

here is what it looked like Cuzic It was gleaming white on the outside.

      • Flame blue

I looked at the article, very interesting. It refers to a Queen Sophia buried in the Church. That was a surprise to me because an article l read said that the name of the church wasn’t anything to do with her.

Anyway the lovely church doesn’t belong to Muslims even though they are the dominant religion in that country, no more than a Buddhist temple or a mosque belongs to Western Christians simply because they are the dominant faith in the West.

There are some Christians in Turkey, the church belongs to them not Muslims. I am sick of the warped mentality of Muslims. They have without apology stolen the cathedral, and it seems the Christian hierarchy doesn’t dispute over the matter. I hope that the Church fills them with awe and they start to really respect Jesus and follow his teachings and Commandments instead of being apostates, a mish mash or heresy.

        • Стефан Евгений

Flame there never was a Queen Sophia buried in the Church, or any King or Queen. it’s a load of Turkish bs.
Here is how Christian Chant would have sounded.

here is what it used to look like but it would have been white on the outside

          • Flame blue

Hi, l viewed the videos. Beautiful, peaceful church. It’s a church not ever a mosque. Lovely music, Gregorian chanting. Muslims forbid music in it, but that’s good because l don’t want their ugly wailing in there.

        • Tom_mcewen

The Orthodox Church has no independence from the Turkish state, the state controls what books the church can buy, what the hours of mass, the places where it can be held, what repairs can be made and when. The Ottomans control the appointment of the head of the church and routinely murdered the head to sell it on to the next, it was attained by money required by the Ottomans. A voice from the Orthodox is silenced by an overbearing state. It will get worse there will be more beheading of bishops and priests and a final driving out of Orthodox Christians to satisfy the mob. I depend on the Russians alone to free Hagia Sophia.

          • Flame blue

To think that a country treating Christian minorities in that way, is aggrieved because it’s not allowed to join Europe!! I have heard that Erdogan claims that Muslims are persecuted on the basis that they are not allowed to do what they like, yet they and Erdogan are the persecuters and fascists! It makes me angry!

Quite frankly, there’s no way that the Christians of Turkey can be following true Christianity, if they have to follow dictates from an Islamic overlord. It’s logical to assume that they will not be permitted to claim Jesus’ divinity, or even his crucifixion, plus they will likely be blocked from using Paul’s letters, as the muslims have a hatred for Paul. They hold a hatred and want his gospel book rejected because the warning, prophecy from Paul that Christians must not accept another Gospel ( the Quran) or another Jesus ( Isa) even if (it’s said that) an Angel from Heaven gave it. That’s one big obstacles the Muhammadans need to get rid of in order for to lure Christians to the Quran, it’s false Jesus, and false prophet Muhamnad.

  • Flame blue

It’s true, l am certain that the opposite message is true. We see this happening all the time now! We see Islamic atrocities yet our leaders and muslims state that Islam is peaceful. We see that what should be despised is being respected, and what should be respected is despised. We see that bad is called good and good is called bad. We see children being viewed as adults, while adults are being treated as children. We see perversion called love. There can be no doubt that when they say Peace, Peace, all Hell will let loose!

  • infowolf1

As I have said on another blog, since Rome held not just Europe but all the Middle East and north Africa and part of western Persia at one point, even if the “revived Roman empire” idea is true NOT ONE PART OF IT NEED BE IN EUROPE.
considering Turkey to be part of Europe is absurd. sure it held land in Europe and I guess Constantinople aka Istanbul is on a Euro bit, but it is middle eastern the heartland.

    • Grandmere

Study the history before you call it absurd.

  • Filip

Keep up the good work Mr.Shoebat. We need to keep an eye open and be very extra careful because we are living in the last days. We need to hasten our faith in Christ and I do agree with the Eucharist. Many churches has minimized this and do not believe it to be the Flesh and blood of Christ by which we are made whole.. instead they just say oh its symbolic or don’t do it all together. This is central to our faith. Communion must continue! AS well as the Eucharist!

    • “We need to keep an eye open”

Why not both eyes open Filip 😉

I am just nitpicking 🙂 but I agree with you 100%

      • Ratliff

        hullo, Brother…

        • How are you doing these days brother Ratliff. We all miss you here. Your son is alright? Everything okay?

          • Ratliff

We are good. Recently Catechised, and heading for Baptism and 1st Eucharist at Pascha.

          • Grandmere

How wonderful! I am happy for you.

          • Ratliff

Thank you, Grandmere. Terrified of the life confession that’s coming, but not backing down.

          • Ratliff,

These guys heard all the sewage sins. DO not be ‘terrified’.

          • Ratliff

I know. My priest referred to this concern as “demonic.” It won’t stop me.

          • So happy to hear that. I recall you waited for a long time. So happy for you brother Ratliff.

          • Ratliff

Apparently, three years was the average wait as far back as St. John Chrysostum. I don’t mind. We’re getting in at a little over a year.

          • Kamau41

Long time no hear. This is such awesome news to hear bro Ratliff.

          • Ratliff

Many thanks, brother 41. It’s been a long, wild ride.

          • koolmom21

Congratulations Ratliff! I am truly happy for you! I needed some good news today. God’s blessings!

          • Ratliff

Many thanks, Kool. It was an easy choice and a long wait. However, I understand in the time of St John Chrysostum, it took three years. No complaints.

          • Ratliff

            Our Lent is pretty rigorous.

  • Methusalem

Erdogan the wild donkey may perform his satanic prayers inside that beautiful church tomorrow, he might even convert the Hagia Sophia into a mosque April 16th, on THE DAY of Resurrection, on Easter Sunday, By coincident he chose that important to Christians date for a referendum?

Great article, as usual, beautiful Georgian chant!

  • Juan

Erdogan can do whatever he wants, nazis supported by the House of Hannover can do whatever they want, we are safe and strong in Jesus, in Holy Eucharisty. The referendum on April 16th will by a demonic exhibition of satan trough Erdogan but absolutely ridiculous, just a big nothing compared with the Resurrection of Jesuchrist that Roman Catholicism and Orthodoxy will celebrate with joy , happiness and full calm the same day.
This turkish Nebuchadnezzar will chastise the True Israel, the Church and it will be allowed by Almighty God Elohim (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) for refinement of Christendom.
Let moslems and nazis manifest themselves in all their satanic arrogance and spiritual blindness. They are already defeated before they start to fight, they are spiritual cadavers.
May Jesus has Mercy on these sinners and they accept Him. Said this, Erdogan is playing with fire and following this path Turkey, after punish the idolatrous Europe, will confront directly Elohim’s Will.
    Good Lent to everybody.

  • AnthonyM

Erdogan was just looking for an excuse to turn Hagia Sophia into a mosque. The move will increase his stature, and the secularized West won’t care. But Russia will not be pleased.
Obama and Erdogan walking inside is an offense and profanation.

  • Grandmere

Walid, you are so right about the abandonment of the Eucharist. I doubt many modern evangelicals would even miss it. Not to mention they do not believe in the true presence. They see us as heretics so they would be glad to overturn our altars.

    • Indeed sister grand. To them the eucharist is a pagan sun disk. The elements for these to support the Antichrist is well embedded into their way of thinking. They would even argue that the “grain offering” is some symbolic gesture to prayer. It is what I used to always ask as I did my rounds speaking: why do you people allegorize literals and literalize allegories?

      • Grandmere

Good question. The Gordian Knot of questions.

    • Grace Ziem

I have not heard any evangelicals say or imply they would be glad to attack Catholic alters and I would attack them if they ever did. You Catholics are the ones who constantly attack Bible-believing evangelicals, to maintain the view that only Catholics will be saved, which is insulting and does not have a Biblical basis. If God wants to convert the bread and wine, to His body and blood He will. He has all power.

Acts 16:31 “They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.” John 3:16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life”

These and many other verses say everyone who believes in/follows Christ will be saved. The thief on the cross never took communion. There are many examples in scripture of people being saved before and without communion. Communion is a WONDERFUL and holy act of remembrance at the deepest level. Christ orders us to take up our cross, and reminds us we will not be saved if we don’t; did He mean to carry a wooden cross around??

He tells us we must forgive or we won’t be saved, but the website rarely mentions that. (Matt 6:14-15) “For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.”

Christ many times told people not to judge others, in the sense of thinking we know the mind of God vs who will be saved: Matt 7:1 “Judge not, that ye be not judged” but there is lots of judgement here, and not all is Biblical.

Christ in Matthew 7: 20-46 taught about how those who do not do acts of love for others will not be saved; I rarely hear that here.

I are sorry to see some of the Gospel preached here and other parts ignored, and then those who study scripture ridiculed unless they are Catholics. Read Christ again and see what He says about Pharisees; it is easy for us to make these errors….Grand, this is not meant to be a critque of you at all, but it is my concern for this important website. Why the constant bashing of “evangelicals”: Christ tells us all to be evangelical..(Matt 28:19).

      • Grandmere

I am sorry that I have offended you, Grace. I have been trying to stay away from comments during Lent. Every day I need forgiveness.

        • You said nothing wrong Grand.

          • Grandmere

            Thanks, Chef.

        • Grace Ziem

Yes, dear, every day we all need forgiveness. Thank you and blessings for your kind words. Love, Grace

      • Nan

Grace, we’re concerned for your souls as you don’t actually follow the One True Faith. The Bible doesn’t claim to be the only authority, that was Martin Luther’s heresy. The Bible says to follow both Scripture and Tradition.

        • Grace Ziem

Where does the Bible say that? Where does it say tradition is equal to scripture?

      • “You Catholics are the ones who constantly attack Bible-believing evangelicals”

Grace, I know your heart and I do not think you are anti-Catholic, but the statement above needs proof. If I peruse the net I find that the opposite is true. I get comments daily with “RCC is pagan …” and the net is filled with anti-Catholic Evangelicals. The Catholic defends while anti-Catholics attack. We can spend years going over the organizations and websites to show you clearly that what you stated is not the case.

        • luis

Being Protestant I can confirm there is a ton of ignorance on our part concerning Catholics and Orthodox. That’s why I thought you did such a great job when you used to speak at churches opening the eyes of evangelicals to see that Catholics and Orthodox are our brothers and sisters

          • Indeed Luis. The way I see it is that when I write about Evangelicals is because I love them. Yet many state that I am filled with hatred. I also see errors amongst Catholics who get too much into miracles, signs and wonders and false prophecies …

Its the signs of the times luis.

          • Kamau41

I have read many of your comments Luis to realize and know that your heart is in the right place. You are on a journey and on the right road!

          • luis

I hope God continues to guide me and I hope Protestants and Catholics/ Orthodox continue to have dialogue because I believe we can learn a lot from each other

          • Kamau41

            Yes indeed!

        • Grace Ziem

Walid, I am VERY sorry you have to endure that. Some of it may be just another way to attack your message. We know that Christ alone is the judge of our faith. This again illustrates the importance of our showing kindness to each other, most especially during these times of persecution. Blessings!

  • Cuzick

” While we all argue the different biblical points, one thing is for sure, our silence on Hagia Sophia while millions of Muslims surround it like wolves, is shameful. Here, this is your heritage, this is your Temple, weep and pray: ”
It is also shameful how Christians in the west have little or no knowledge of the history of Christianity. 16 April 2017 another date that will live in infamy for those unaware or refuse to embrace the correct prophecy interpretations by Mr. Shoebat.

    • Kamau41

“It is also shameful how Christians in the west have little or no knowledge of the history of Christianity.” Sadly, so very true indeed. What’s even worse Cuzick, many don’t even care to have the eager to learn.

      • Grandmere

That is so very true. Ignorance is bliss. Knowledge is power.

        • Kamau41

      • Rejoice 41. The more the numbers of the careless increases, the sooner we leave this ship.

        • Grandmere

How many will jump ship? How many will we pull aboard? We need to get to work because it will be all hands to the oars. It’s going to be hot, sweaty, bloody, hungry, thirsty. Not a lot of people want to sign up for that these days.

          • Kamau41

Unfortunately, most will not be prepared for the very bumpy ride that is just ahead of us.

        • Kamau41

          I will Chef!

        • Grace Ziem

Sorry to interrupt, but is this your view about loss of salvation for many; I don’t understand the scriptural basis of this teaching. tho I understand the temptation for weariness…..

  • Brick

I always dreamed that one day my fellow Orthodox brothers and sisters will retake all those places that once belonged to them, especially Hagia Sophia. Every time when I see those mosques that were once churches,, I feel there is something rising within me that hopes one day it will be taken back. I do think Turkey and Rome fits perfectly, since Ottoman Turkey was self claimed and approved by some people (or some historians) that it is the “third Rome”, and the Sultan claimed the title Sultan al-rum. Thus, the prophesy fits perfectly. Also, it also fits the desire of the Muslims “First Constantinople then Rome”. It is possible, or maybe even obvious that Rome is the last and final target of the anti-christ where he sits as the abomination of desolation in the Temple of God. First satan wants Jerusalem, then he wants Constantinople, and finally he wants Rome as all three cities are Cities of great spirituality, cities of kings, and cities that holds special significance in the hearts of Christians.

Now here is my bad speculation or suspicion: If Erdogan (or whoever)fits the role of antichrist, or the role of the mahdi, it is quiet possible that he will go into hagia sophia and be worshipped as allah. Then, he would form an alliance with Israel and gets to Jerusalem and be welcomed, where then he will go to Al-Aqsa and be hailed as the bringer of peace by both Jews and Muslims, and even Christians since he is bringing “peace”. Then, he would unite the Islamic world and start a new wave of invasion (maybe more immigration or warfare?) towards Rome. There, he would not have his hands shed a blood (he wants to portray himself a lamb), but I believe there will be people carry out his deeds for him where many Christians will became martyrs…

  • Kamau41

“People are unaware how fast prophecy is moving.” After reading this study, it truly makes even more sense as to why so many Christians here in the west will no doubt be following the Antichrist. Moreover, so many have already been pre-conditioned to follow the spirit of the Antichrist, which is a very sobering reality.

I don’t doubt either come April 16th, when the constitutional referendum is held in Turkey, it will pass setting the stage for Erdogan to have supreme leadership power over the Middle East/the Muslim world big time. This is something we certainly can’t ignore and take lightly whatsoever. Otherwise, another excellent early Sunday Special discourse, accurately unlocking the secrets of what is happening in our times. Very much enjoyed the sublime Georgian Orthodox Chant at the end.

    • Grandmere

It is not coincidental that this referendum falls on Easter Sunday and that Easter day is the same for Catholic, Orthodox and Anglican. I did not include others for obvious reasons. The majority of prots will not even have a communion service.

  • Wilma Mills

I didn’t vote in 2012 because I could not stand Mitt Romney, and no way for Obama.

“After all, I could be wrong and we could have the false prophet and an

and Antichrist is western. No one knows for sure.”

This would parallel Hitler and the Muslim Brotherhood:

“The only religion I respect is Islam. The only prophet I admire is the Prophet Muhammad. – Adolph Hitler”

  • Dan

Your vatican might be next on the list where muslims demand to pray.
The Pope’s already claimed we all pray to the same God and he’s even allowed imams to pray in the vatican so why would muslims praying at the hagia Sophia be any different and the place was last a mosque so why the outcry?
Seriously, Catholics should have been screaming at the pope from the beginning when he claimed Islam and Christianity both pray to the same God. Oh, but you’re shocked now with the muslims who want to pray at the HS.

Walid, is correct when he states ” people are messed up” but I would just worry about the Christians because we are the problem; all of us.

    • Dan,

I am not sure why evert time I write such an article that someone mentions the Pope.

Listen, if the Pope himself caused the Abomination of Desolation it would not phase me one iota for Paul warned us of such times. But even if this happens it still proves that the Catholic Church is the one because the Church that gets the desecration PROVES that this is the valid one.

Its like if Antiochus desecrates the Temple instead of a Hindu Temple. Which of the two proves it was of God?

      I rest my case.

      • Dan

Walid, you may be surprised but I feel the same way you do at least when it comes to not being surprised. I only have my suspicions about the signs of the times but I am fully confident that I will be able to discern them when the event happens right in front of me. So, I don’t worry too much about it. I do however enjoy trying to understand it all.

I’m reading a book from John Preacher and he mentions you with with much fondness as he appreciates your understanding of the endtimes prophecies.

I pulled up a video of you in 2015 I’m going to watch later. You’re talking about your time with the PLO and you’re also talking about the role you believe Islam will play in the end of days.

I am surprised to find out you have been on TV quite a bit.

Blessings to you as well my friend !

        • Dan,

If I share who and how many I have been with you will be shocked, but I do not share them because most of the famous people I have been with on either TV or media in my view are awful people. I’d rather share about my arguments with Dan about “American complainers” rather than sit across the table with evil doers. In other words, I love simple folks.

  • “Early Christians didn’t use buildings, or steeples, or any of those trappings.”

What a crock. You only say that because its an Orthodox Church, but have some Muslim stomp over your flag which is only cloth, you would start laying eggs and get bent out of shape. You want to tell the Orthodox Christians that their Temple is a “trapping”? Go right ahead, but make sure you do this in Russia and then tell me how you feel afterwards.

  • Grace Ziem

I think by far the most likely scenario is Erdogan as the AntiChrist and 2Thess 2:4 could be interpreted as you have. But Christ’s discussion in Matthew seems to focus on Israel: (Matt 24:15-16) “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

Why would Christ tell those in Judea to instantly flee, not even picking up a coat? (17 Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house. Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak. etc) if the temple was in Turkey?

Daniel also strongly implies temple location: (Daniel 9:27) “The ruler will make a treaty with the people for a period of one set of seven, but after half this time, he will put an end to the sacrifices and offerings. And as a climax to all his terrible deeds, he will set up a sacrilegious object that causes desecration, until the fate decreed for this defiler is finally poured out on him.”

His putting an end to sacrifices and offerings would fit a rebuilt temple. The term “sacrifices and offerings” in scripture typically referred to Jewish observances. Because this affects the time left before Christ’s return, this issue is crucial to our end times understanding and perhaps we should be very careful to not pick a location too soon.
Thank you so much for your wonderful work and many blessings to you, family and staff!!

  • Grace Ziem

I recommend you read the Bible if you don’t think this is very important. If someone told you a fatal virus was traveling the globe and would kill 100% of all people, you would learn about it. This will affect All living people, or I would be watching a movie instead of typing to you.(no offense, please)
If you want to learn about this from other people, you can compare Islamic and Christian end times views by reading Joel Richardson’s book, The Islamic Antichrist and/or watch explanatory videos in the series on Revelation at Blessings!

  • Samson,

In my book you’re alright, despite that once you got angry at my son and said that you would throw him in the dumpster because he critiques the American Constitution, remember 😉

Me and you as friends go a long ways. I have been in your congregation many times and you have been a gracious and loyal friend indeed for decades.

    But you drink Grape Juice.

Now we can argue back and forth over Hagafen being grape juice or wine, its wine Samson. Cain had the wrong recipe and Abel had the correct recipe.

We all know that the secret to your strength in carrying my son and throwing him in the dumpster is in the secret of your long hair.

But the secret of the Eucharist is REAL wine Samson.

The Eucharist and your Matza are not the same.

Here my good and entrusted friend, read this, but promise me that you will not skip a line, that you will contemplate every word written and then you will examine and try to refute it and then respond to me:

    I shall await your reply.

Hi Walid, the deal with Ted and the Constitution was me protecting Ted from a Tea Party crowd of Constitutional Activists. I didn’t want him to endure having people boo him and get up and walk out. It was nothing personal since me and Ted are buddies. I have a church full of Constitutional activists, including me, so I didn’t think it would have gone well. It was a long time ago. Of course the deal with shooting someone and throwing them in the dumpster out back is an old phrase that we have been saying in jest for years. It is just a figure of speech not to be taken serious or we would all be in prison a long time ago.

As far as the article, I got through most of it but we live in two different worlds. I am a charismatic spirit filled Zionist. (not Messianic since I eat bacon) and I guess you are a Zionist Catholic. At this point, I have no leading of the Holy Spirit to become a Catholic and you obviously have no leading of the Holy Spirit to become a charismatic. So I think the best we can do for now is for me to be a good spirit filled charismatic and for you to be a good Catholic. I hope we can still be buddies even though we live in two different worlds.

      I love you guys.
      Shalom, Samson

      • Samson,

As far as the ‘dumpster story’ you were not meant to take it seriously as you can tell I posted smiley faces. As far as the article, I know we disagree on these issues but wanted your views on the link. As far as our friendship, as you know, its forever 😉

  • Lidia,

I will read your comment more carefully later on, but for starters, you link to Trad Cat who writes:

“l’Abbé Souffrant was a French priest who lived during the French Revolution era. And “Souffrant” was his name.”

Where does this come from? A lot of what is out there cannot be confirmed about such claims. So be careful. I do not every prophecy I read out there.

Can you tell me the references to back this “I Abbe Souffrant …” stuff?

    • Owen Schumacher

Lidia and Walid, maybe you guys already know it, but TradCatKnight is a friend of David Duke, the infamous bigot. I wouldn’t trust TradCat as far as I could throw him.

      • Didn’t know that Schumacher, but not surprised. As Scripture says ‘ they will betray one another’. This type of thing will grow more and you will be shocked by the day of the people who sell their souls to the devil, the god of racism.

        • Kamau41

Totally agree. I’m already been seeing this type of thing too happening more and more as the days goes by.

        • Owen Schumacher

It’s very sad, Walid. Too many Christians—assuming they still are Christians—fall for such evil. Thank you for exposing what the alt-right and the counter-jihad movements are doing, by the way. Many of them seem no better—or even worse!—than those on the left. More and more I’m convinced only Christ and sincere Christians can help this strange world.

          • Kamau41

“Many of them seem no better—or even worse!—than those on the left.” Absolutely Owen. You got it. Simply put, it’s the same evil on the same coin.

But early Christians did use building, St Peter was the bishop of Antioch for seven years before Rome, ruins of his church remain, St John was the bishop of Ephesus and his church remains, the earliest part of Mark was found in a building sacked by Romans from 68-70 AD, Stalin the father of all nations, engineer of souls destroyed Christ the Savior in Moscow and as soon as communism fell, work started on the new beautiful Christ the Savior, beauty is a gift and not shunned by the Orthodox. The only early Christians were Catholics and the placed icons on the walls of the tombs which they took the Eucharist on the altar. Buildings was only degraded in the period of 1740-1790 when the colonial religious Climate changed.

  • Grandmere

I can’t relate to that. I can’t get sevearl hundred people in my house so my church building is important. If invaders turned it into either a mosque or a museum I would be crushed. Do you attend a home church, a big church or no church on Sunday?

  • Marie Halligan

Oh Boris- he always makes me think that a village somewhere in the depths of East Anglia is missing an idiot, lol, he’s a big Anglo-Saxon lummox, and yes he totally lacks charisma and most Brits think he’s a bufoon. This is for the best though because Obama’s charisma made him all the more dangerous. He put on a top performance when he came to Ireland with his drinking a pint in Moneygall and all the flannel. He had everyone wrapped around his finger and far too many people this side of the Atlantic still think he’s great and have no idea what a warmonger he was and how much he undermined morals and decency in America and his anti-Christian agenda.

  • Marie Halligan

They didn’t but that was mainly because the religion was illegal and they were classed as criminals. As soon as Christianity became legal and the State religion of the Empire, both West and East, people began building places of worship- churches and cathedrals and little chapels and sure, why not? Why not pool resources and create beautiful architecture and art for the Glory of God? People poured a lot of love and hard graft into those buildings as well as coin and it is a kick in the teeth for them to be desecrated, not just because of the human endeavour, but because they are consecrated to God and thus, holy ground. Of course, Christians can worship without buildings. My ancestors in Ireland used to have to for a few hundred years because of the rabid fear and loathing of Catholicism of the occupying Protestant British. They used to have Mass out in the wilds by a stone designated as a “Mass Stone” and they are still dotted all over the Irish countryside. No joke considering our damp, soggy cool climate either, standing hearing Mass getting soaked to the skin and the brain being blown out of your head through your ears by the howling winds, lol! So you are right in that way- we will find a way to worship God even if they destroy every single church on the planet. Desecrating a church is still a gut-wrenchingly sickening sacrelige though!

  • David,

I’d stay away from this type of prophecy most of which cannot be confirmed.

    • Grandmere

That Bowring guy sounds a lot like David Hunt. Did he have a similar revelation about Revelation?

      • He collects unapproved and impossible to trace prophecies that are geared towards book sales just like Dave Hunt. Yes, he says that he has an “additional” revelation to the Book of Revelation and you know what that book said about adding to it.

  • Grandmere

Samson, in the Eucharistic prayer, it is the Holy Spirit who is invoked to make the change from bread and wine to Body and blood. Once you understand the Eucharist, it all falls into place.

  • Grandmere

    Wonderful! Have a blessed Easter.
