Erdogan Declares From Istanbul: All The Jews To Be Beheaded And That Jerusalem Is The Capital Of Palestine And The Muslim World

By Walid Shoebat

Trump’s ‘Jerusalem is the capital of Israel’ seconded by Netanyahu was the ace in the hole Erdogan needed to catapult him into becoming Caliph of the Muslim world. Erdogan this morning capitalized on this, convened an emergency meeting of the OIC (Organisation of Islamic Cooperation) led by Erdogan, from Istanbul while gathering representatives from all the nations he needs to spark his Caliphate agenda. Today he officially recognized East Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine:

[The O.I.C] invited “all countries to recognize the state of Palestine and East Jerusalem as its occupied capital.” The 57-member bloc also affirmed “its readiness to take the Jerusalem issue to the UN General Assembly if the UN Security Council fails to take action” against the “grave violation” of the U.S. decision.

Istanbul Declaration announces E. Jerusalem capital of Palestine state

So Erdogan now succeeds to take 56 of the 57 OIC member who are also UN member states (out of 196) to his Caliphate Muslim league. This is one third of the U.N. One third of these rivers are being poisoned while making Jerusalem a trembling cup to all these surrounding nations.

Today Erdogan declared:

“It us, our grandfathers [the Ottomans] who were the caretakers of this city [Jerusalem] … Sultan Suleiman the law giver etched on the Hebron Gate in Jerusalem ‘No God but Allah and Abraham is the Friend of Allah’ … these [Americans] should learn from Omar bin Al-Khattab how he took the keys of Jerusalem peacefully … peace in Jerusalem will be accomplished by the efforts of people who have justice. I ask all nations to accept that Jerusalem is the capital of occupied Palestine … we will not delay, we insist that the state of Palestine independent with its capital Jerusalem … last year commemorates the hundred years where Jerusalem was ruled by Muslims … I call all nations to visit and defend Jerusalem. To be there is a call! To bow there is a call! Jerusalem is a red line. The Haram Al-Sharif [Temple Mount] which encompasses Al-Aqsa and the Dome of Rock which encompass 144,000 square meters is the eternal spot [exclusively] for Muslims … we should not forget the instructions from the one who liberated Jerusalem, Saladin, who said ‘who is busy causing enmity for his brothers will never defeat his enemies’ This is the time to make the nation who do not recognize Palestine to do it. Europe also needs to be liberated … we need to move quickly to include Palestine to the rest of the nations … we need all Muslim nations to materially and logistically give for the cause of Jerusalem. As a leader of the O.I.C I demand the U.S to recant its position. The U.S. is no longer qualified to be the mediator … I believe that our message will be taken seriously by the rest of the nations.”

So its 144,000 square meters, one square meter for every virgin saint who is preserved to rise against the Antichrist. The world is to endure war over 144,000 meters of land (37 acres). Its been a hundred years that the Ottomans lost the city. Erdogan wants to eliminate the divide (Sunni versus Shiite) between Muslims. He wants the mark of his empire back on the gates of Jerusalem and this week he declared that the Jews will all be beheaded (more on that later).

Erdogan angrily added:

“We will continue the struggle for Jerusalem, on the basis of law and legitimacy, with our international partners until the US administration retreats from its wrong decision and ends the Israeli occupation,” he said.

This solidifies the unity Erdogan wanted. Here he is with Rouhani of Iran in Istanbul this morning:

Jerusalem will unify the ‘chief prince of Meshech’ with Persia while Saudi Arabia (Sheba and Dedan) where no show in Istanbul. Instead of the King of Saudi Arabia being there, the Saudi Media aired a segment on the stock market which infuriated Muslims worldwide. However, the King of Jordan joined Erdogan and now we know why Jordan escapes Turkey’s wrath “but these shall escape out of his hand, [even] Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.” Ammon (Amman) is Jordan’s capital. Saudi Arabia today further etched its isolation making Turkey (not just Iran) its enemy.

Everything prophetically tallies to an exact.

So now till 2023 and beyond till 2030 we will witness a Muslim league (not Arab) forming led by the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, which we will monitor closely as long as we are alive. You have a few years to get your lives in order.

This week we wrote on Erdogan’s plans to extend beyond the normative condemnations regarding President Trump’s Jerusalem proclamations. Erdogan contacted Malaysia’s Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak who said he was one of the first South-east Asian leaders contacted by Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan over the issue of US recognising Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

Najib was asked if he was to act militarily against Israel he rebuffed such a proposal.

However, Hishamuddin Hussein, Malaysia’s defense minister said the opposite: “We are ready for any orders from the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces … should our services be needed,” Malaysian Defense Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said in a speech on Saturday, according to The Malay Mail Online.

Al-Mashreq News also reported that President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, declaring that he has equipped an army of more than 50 thousand Turkish and Malaysian fighters, divided as follows (33 thousand Of the Turkish army – and 17,000 of the Malaysian army).

While we are not sure where such a quote was obtained from (we could not find an original source), however we confirmed that the same Malaysian Defense Minister, Hishamuddin Hussein, Saturday said that “his nation’s army is ready to move for the cause of Jerusalem” as quoted by the news agency Bernama Malaysia, Hussein said in a speech to his party, “US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, is a blow to Muslims. ”

“We, as Muslim countries, must be prepared to face any potential disadvantages,” he said. “The Malaysian army is always ready to take up some task for the cause of Jerusalem, if the high-level leaders move and make a proposal.”

Prime Minister Najib said he was gathering information on the emergency meeting of representatives if the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation that will be held in Istanbul, Turkey on December 13.

In another video Erdogan spouted some apocalyptic words:

“This city [Jerusalem] hold a different story embedded in every corner and atom of soil that tells of a different outcome [for the Jews]. those who deem themselves as the owners of the city will not even be able to find a tree to hide themselves behind.”

Erdogan is referring to the words of Muhammed in the Hadith when Muslims would kill the Jews who hide themselves behind a stone or the tree of al-Gharqad (the tree of the Jews) which will speak in that day saying “O Muslim, O servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and decapitate him”.

One can easily find where in the Bible it mentions decapitation “And I saw the martyrs who were beheaded …”

Yet a President of Turkey and a NATO ally speaks of mass genocide is completely ignored. But the question is: are your heads ready to have the mark of God (the Cross) on your foreheads and will you persist it remains during the execution.

    Things are getting beyond interesting

  • Kevin Nicholson

Christ came as a Jew, so will the Antichrist:

“But I know you, that you have not the love of God in you. I am come in the name of my Father, and you receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him you will receive. How can you believe, who receive glory one from another: and the glory which is from God alone, you do not seek? Think not that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one that accuseth you, Moses, in whom you trust. For if you did believe Moses, you would perhaps believe me also; for he wrote of me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words?” John 5: 42-47

    • magaforever

Thats obviously false as erdogan is a muslim so until a jew shows up in support of him that retarded jewish antichrist theory crap needs to be shut down

      • Kevin Nicholson

That is circular reasoning: the Antichrist is Erdogan because Erdogan is the Antichrist.

        “1) Antichrist will come particularly on account of the Jews, and will be received by them as if he were a Messiah;
        (John 5: 42-47) (2 Thes 2: 11)

        2) He is going to be born from the nation and race of the Jews, be circumcised and shall observe the Sabbath, at least for a time.

Nay more, the Jews also await a Messiah from the family of David, and the tribe of Judah…At length even Gregory says that Antichrist is going to keep the Sabbath and all the other ceremonies of the Jews.” 162

The six opinion is of the Centuriators, who teach that Gog and Magog mean the kingdom of the Saracens or the Turks…it is absolutely false. Gog will come in the end of his years and will not endure for a long time, as is gathered from John and Ezechiel. But the kingdom of the Saracens began a long time ago and has endured for nearly a thousand years, (written 1598) which is by no means a little while.”

As walid has said numerous times Jesus said the seat of satan is in PERGAMUM(turkey) NOT ROME OR JUDAH sorry bub let us know when you can disprove Jesus and walids words

          • Kevin Nicholson

Just quoted Christ and Doctors of the Catholic Church.

          • magaforever

Christ didnt say the antichrist will pretend to be a jew and the church doctors arent greater than christ..christ said satans seat is in turkey not judah amd until you disprove the translation of that verse ypur stupid argument holds no water

          • Kevin Nicholson

Just used Christ’s warning to the Jews who did not receive the truth and are looking for the Messiah. The Antichrist will come in his own name to the Jews and they will accept him.

          • magaforever

Then how is it they cry out to him and he saves them you bs artist?? Zechariah 12:10English Standard Version (ESV)

            Him Whom They Have Pierced

10 “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn.

          • magaforever

Lol so let me get this straight.. A jewish antichrist is going to lead the muslim nations against israel?? Lol nope

          • Kevin Nicholson

Yup…both hate Christ (Rome used legion X to crucify Christ).

Lutherans worked with Islamists to attack Catholics in the middle ages.

Antichrist will force a one world religion on all (ecumenism), then he will declare himself God…join or die.

The state of Israel has the nuclear weapons (used by Antichrist) to “persuade” Islamists to tow his world imperialism.

          • magaforever

Lol doubt it but well see

          • magaforever

I guess when a jew shows up and takes power from erdogan then your jewish amtichrist theory will make sense but until then it doesmt..Jesus said satans seat is in turkey not judah..please explain why jesus lied in revelations about satans seat being in turkey

          • Kevin Nicholson

            Straw man argument: “jesus lied”

            2 Thessalonians 2:7-9 Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)

For the mystery of iniquity already worketh; only that he who now holdeth, do hold, until he be taken out of the way. And then that wicked one shall be revealed whom the Lord Jesus shall kill with the spirit of his mouth; and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming, him, Whose coming is according to the working of Satan, in all power, and signs, and lying wonders,

Antichrist’s individual name is a mystery as stated above.

That he will appear to the Jews as their (false) Messiah (keeping the law) is Catholic teaching.

          • magaforever

But jesus said satans throne is in turkey NOT JUDEA ..if the catholic church disagrees then they are in error not Jesus… Revelation 2:12-13Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (RSVCE)
            The Message to Pergamum
12 “And to the angel of the church in Per′gamum write: ‘The words of him who has the sharp two-edged sword.

13 “‘I know where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is; you hold fast my name and you did not deny my faith even in the days of An′tipas my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.

          • Kevin Nicholson

You have not proved your premise or disproved what I stated above.

          • magaforever

Lol the premise is that jesus said statans seat is in turkey meaning that is where antichrist will come from leading his muslim league just as ezekiel said..which disproves the idiotic jewish antichrist theory until a turkish jew pops up your theory is bunk and you stand against christs words and crystal clear teaching..as well as walids..the church fathers you quote aremt God and they arent infallible

          • Kevin Nicholson

Again, your premise is not proved:

            1 John 5:19-20 Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)

We know that we are of God, and the whole world is seated in wickedness.
And we know that the Son of God is come: and he hath given us understanding that we may know the true God, and may be in his true Son. This is the true God and life eternal.

            Matthew 4:8-10 Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)

Again the devil took him up into a very high mountain, and shewed him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them, And said to him: All these will I give thee, if falling down thou wilt adore me. Then Jesus saith to him: Begone, Satan: for it is written, The Lord thy God shalt thou adore, and him only shalt thou serve.

            Finally:

            Revelation 11:7-9 Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)

And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast, that ascendeth out of the abyss, shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their bodies shall lie in the streets of the great city, which is called spiritually, Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord also was crucified. And they of the tribes, and peoples, and tongues, and nations, shall see their bodies for three days and a half: and they shall not suffer their bodies to be laid in sepulchers.

The Antichrist rules out of Jerusalem as the false Messiah to the Jews.

          • magaforever

Ok we will see then ..i believe what Jesus said in revelation to john you believe the church fathers

          • Kevin Nicholson

            “Ok we will see then.”

More importantly, that we live by the Spirit to see God’s face immediately upon our own death.

            Peace in Christ our Redeemer.

          • magaforever

Sorry but until you disprove revelation 2 then your position and or the catholic church position is false..my guess is that its..your limited understanding that is in error .. There will be no jewish antichrist from turkey it just wont happen

          • magaforever

Just that one verse jesus saying satans seat is in turkey debunks your whole stupid jew hating theory

          • Kevin Nicholson

No it does not – bad theology “jew hating theory”.

            Zionism curses Jews:

            Hebrews 10:29-30 Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)

How much more, do you think he deserveth worse punishments, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath esteemed the blood of the testament unclean, by which he was sanctified, and hath offered an affront to the Spirit of grace?
For we know him that hath said: Vengeance belongeth to me, and I will repay. And again: The Lord shall judge his people.

          Zechariah 8New International Version (NIV)
The Lord Promises to Bless Jerusalem
8 The word of the Lord Almighty came to me.

2 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “I am very jealous for Zion; I am burning with jealousy for her.”

3 This is what the Lord says: “I will return to Zion and dwell in Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the Faithful City, and the mountain of the Lord Almighty will be called the Holy Mountain.”

        • magaforever

7 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “I will save my people from the countries of the east and the west. 8 I will bring them back to live in Jerusalem; they will be my people, and I will be faithful and righteous to them as their God.”

          • Kevin Nicholson

“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered together thy children, as the hen doth gather her chickens under her wings, and thou wouldest not? Behold, your house shall be left to you, desolate. For I say to you, you shall not see me henceforth till you say: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.” Matthew 23: 37-39

        • “1) Antichrist will come particularly on account of the Jews, and will be received by them as if he were a Messiah; (John 5: 42-47) (2 Thes 2: 11)”

So is this what John 5: 42-47 and 2 These 2:11 say?

          Does the text explicitly state

          A) “Antichrist will come particularly on account of the Jews, and will be received by them as if he were a Messiah”

          Or is this simply:

          B) an interpretation you provided?

Now I would hope you would choose A or B without any explanations. But I doubt that you will do this.

          • Kevin Nicholson

            A.

        • I have addressed St. Bellarmine’s quotes on Antichrist extensively. The article above is not regarding this issue. However you are welcome to comment on the articles on St. Bellarmine by searching “Shoebat” “Bellarmine”.

          • Avram Moreh

I would add that it isn’t Antichrist directly who restores such ceremonies.

Antichrist may seek to facilitate this process of rebuilding the Temple of God because his covetous intention is to appropriate worship – to usurp God’s Throne.

This is foreshadowed in Antiochus Epimanes (a type of Antichrist and not a Jew) as mentioned by Messiah and Daniel’s Abomination of Desolation.

      • Grace Ziem

        AGREE:
1)Erdogan, the current ruler of Turkey, has recently changed from a Gregorian/Christian-type calendar to an Islamic calendar. This reminds us of Daniel (7:25) discussion of changing set times.
( Turkish Muslims will celebrate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad in the week starting Nov. 29 this year following a date change made by the new chair of the Religious Affairs Directorate (Diyanet), Ali Erbaş.
With the latest change , Turkey will mark the prophet’s life according to a Hijri calendar , instead of the Gregorian calendar .
2)Erdogan has demanded that Germany return the altar of Pergamum (Zeus, altar of Satan) which was removed from the Ottoman empire.
        3) Caliphate: Sheikh Yusuf Qaradawi, president of the World Federation of Muslim Scholars, gave a widely published (in Arabic world, not in Western media, directive of what many viewed as a direct command from heaven itself to Erdogan declaring that “Allah” including “the angelic host” and “the saints” appointed Erdogan to be given allegiance by all Muslims including all Muslim scholars from all four corners of the globe ERDOGAN REFERRED TO IN ARABIC AS “CALIPH ERDOGAN” (but this would upset the stock market and is not mentioned by most Western media.
        4)Changing set laws (Daniel 7:25)
Erdogan has vowed that beheading is coming to Turkey as well to all who betray him. (Sharia Law)
        5) Receiving allegiance
Erdogan has erected a giant image symbolizing his victory and “Turkey’s unification,” he then had his people come to visit the image as a symbol of pledging allegiance to him. It was topped by a crescent, carried by seven statues signifying Turkey’s seven regions united. Tek Devlet “One State” the image said.
        6) Alliance with Iran (aka Persia) Ezekial 38
Turkey and Iran yesterday decided to remove all the obstacles and have agreed to boost military cooperation after talks in Ankara this week between the Iranian armed forces chief of staff and Turkish leaders, President Tayyip Erdogan’s spokesman said on Thursday. (8/17/17)

  • richinnameonly

The correspondence of 144,000 square meters and the 144,000 sealed servants of God stated in scripture is very interesting. Is there a purposeful prophetic significance? Did Erdogan choose and state the number on purpose? Or is the equality of the numbers coincidence?

    • susan

      Good question. 🙂

    • David G

      Was thinking the same thing.

  • susan

“Yet a President of Turkey and a NATO ally speaks of mass genocide is completely ignored.”

The silence is stunning…. Everything has lined up just as you said it would according to God’s word in His bible…all we needed was a true watchman to WATCH and warn us. What about those poor Christians stuck in poverty making bricks in Pakistan? Who will deliver them and their children?

And gosh….2023-2030…That’s a LOT of years we still have to go through….if i make it, that is. Years worth of arms racing… huge military expenditures… How soon before we see the next chapter in Revelations?

    • David G

“And gosh….2023-2030…” Is 7 years exactly! A 7 year deal between the Antichrist and Israel? Very much interested in brother Walid’s thoughts on the matter. We’ve got 5 years to get our households in order. Keeping the lamps filled with oil!

      • susan

An oil filled lamp is a must for Jesus comes at an hour we don’t expect. 🙂

        • Paul

He was talking of “get our households in order”. Equating some information like “Jesus comes at an hour we don’t expect” with oil seems to be foolish when everyone knows that the wise ones strangely refused to share their oil with the foolish saying that “No, lest there should not be enough for us and you” (Matthew 25:9) When I share some information I do not lose that information!

          • susan

Paul, i have no idea what you’re talking about. Perhaps you can explain your thought process?

Here are the scriptures i was contemplating

            Vigilant and Faithful Servants.*
            35
q “Gird your loins and light your lamps
            36
and be like servants who await their master’s return from a wedding, ready to open immediately when he comes and knocks.r
            37
Blessed are those servants whom the master finds vigilant on his arrival. Amen, I say to you, he will gird himself, have them recline at table, and proceed to wait on them.
            38
And should he come in the second or third watch and find them prepared in this way, blessed are those servants.
            39
s Be sure of this: if the master of the house had known the hour when the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into.
            40
You also must be prepared, for at an hour you do not expect, the Son of Man will come.”
            41
Then Peter said, “Lord, is this parable meant for us or for everyone?”
            42
And the Lord replied, “Who, then, is the faithful and prudent steward whom the master will put in charge of his servants to distribute [the] food allowance at the proper time?
            43
Blessed is that servant whom his master on arrival finds doing so.
            44
Truly, I say to you, he will put him in charge of all his property.
            45
But if that servant says to himself, ‘My master is delayed in coming,’* and begins to beat the menservants and the maidservants, to eat and drink and get drunk,
            46
then that servant’s master will come on an unexpected day and at an unknown hour and will punish him severely and assign him a place with the unfaithful.
            47
That servant who knew his master’s will but did not make preparations nor act in accord with his will shall be beaten severely;t
            48
and the servant who was ignorant of his master’s will but acted in a way deserving of a severe beating shall be beaten only lightly. Much will be required of the person entrusted with much, and still more will be demanded of the person entrusted with more.
            Jesus: A Cause of Division.*
            49
“I have come to set the earth on fire, and how I wish it were already blazing!

            And

            The Unknown Day and Hour.*
            36
p “But of that day and hour no one knows, neither the angels of heaven, nor the Son,* but the Father alone.
            37
            * q For as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
            38
In [those] days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day that Noah entered the ark.
            39
They did not know until the flood came and carried them all away. So will it be [also] at the coming of the Son of Man.
            40
            * r Two men will be out in the field; one will be taken, and one will be left.
            41
Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken, and one will be left.
            42
            * s Therefore, stay awake! For you do not know on which day your Lord will come.
            43
t Be sure of this: if the master of the house had known the hour of night when the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and not let his house be broken into.
            44
So too, you also must be prepared, for at an hour you do not expect, the Son of Man will come.
The Faithful or the Unfaithful Servant.*
            45
u “Who, then, is the faithful and prudent servant, whom the master has put in charge of his household to distribute to them their food at the proper time?*
            46
Blessed is that servant whom his master on his arrival finds doing so.
            47
Amen, I say to you, he will put him in charge of all his property.
            48
            * But if that wicked servant says to himself, ‘My master is long delayed,’
            49
and begins to beat his fellow servants, and eat and drink with drunkards,
            50
the servant’s master will come on an unexpected day and at an unknown hour
            51
v and will punish him severely* and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth.

            And

The Parable of the Ten Virgins.*
            1
“Then* the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
            2
            * Five of them were foolish and five were wise.
            3
The foolish ones, when taking their lamps, brought no oil with them,
            4
but the wise brought flasks of oil with their lamps.
            5
Since the bridegroom was long delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
            6
At midnight, there was a cry, ‘Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’
            7
Then all those virgins got up and trimmed their lamps.
            8
The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’
            9
But the wise ones replied, ‘No, for there may not be enough for us and you. Go instead to the merchants and buy some for yourselves.’
            10
While they went off to buy it, the bridegroom came and those who were ready went into the wedding feast with him. Then the door was locked.
            11
            * a Afterwards the other virgins came and said, ‘Lord, Lord, open the door for us!’
            12
But he said in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, I do not know you.’
            13
b Therefore, stay awake,* for you know neither the day nor the hour.
            The Parable of the Talents.*
            14
c “It will be as when a man who was going on a journey* called in his servants and entrusted his possessions to them.
            15
To one he gave five talents;* to another, two; to a third, one—to each according to his ability. Then he went away. Immediately
            16
the one who received five talents went and traded with them, and made another five.
            17
Likewise, the one who received two made another two.
            18
            * But the man who received one went off and dug a hole in the ground and buried his master’s money.
            19
After a long time the master of those servants came back and settled accounts with them.
            20
The one who had received five talents came forward bringing the additional five.* He said, ‘Master, you gave me five talents. See, I have made five more.’
            21
d His master said to him, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. Since you were faithful in small matters, I will give you great responsibilities. Come, share your master’s joy.’
            22
[Then] the one who had received two talents also came forward and said, ‘Master, you gave me two talents. See, I have made two more.’
            23
His master said to him, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. Since you were faithful in small matters, I will give you great responsibilities. Come, share your master’s joy.’
            24
            Then the one who had received the one talent came forward and said, ‘Master, I knew you were a demanding person, harvesting where you did not plant and gathering where you did not scatter;
            25
so out of fear I went off and buried your talent in the ground. Here it is back.’
            26
His master said to him in reply, ‘You wicked, lazy servant!* So you knew that I harvest where I did not plant and gather where I did not scatter?
            27
Should you not then have put my money in the bank so that I could have got it back with interest on my return?
            28
Now then! Take the talent from him and give it to the one with ten.
            29
            * e For to everyone who has, more will be given and he will grow rich; but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.
            30
            * And throw this useless servant into the darkness outside, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth.’
            The Judgment of the Nations.*
            31
f “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit upon his glorious throne,
            32
g and all the nations* will be assembled before him. And he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
            33
He will place the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
            34
Then the king will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
            35
h For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me,
            36
naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.’
            37
Then the righteous* will answer him and say, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?
            38
When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?
            39
When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?’
            40
i And the king will say to them in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.’
            41
            * j Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
            42
k For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink,
            43
a stranger and you gave me no welcome, naked and you gave me no clothing, ill and in prison, and you did not care for me.’
            44
            * Then they will answer and say, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or ill or in prison, and not minister to your needs?’
            45
He will answer them, ‘Amen, I say to you, what you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me.’
            46
l And these will go off to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”
            * [25:1–13] Peculiar to Matthew.

            * [25:1] Then: at the time of the parousia. Kingdom…will be like: see note on Mt 13:24–30.

            * [25:2–4] Foolish…wise: cf. the contrasted “wise man” and “fool” of Mt 7:24, 26 where the two are distinguished by good deeds and lack of them, and such deeds may be signified by the oil of this parable.

            * [25:11–12] Lord, Lord: cf. Mt 7:21. I do not know you: cf. Mt 7:23 where the Greek verb is different but synonymous.

            * [25:13] Stay awake: some scholars see this command as an addition to the original parable of Matthew’s traditional material, since in Mt 25:5 all the virgins, wise and foolish, fall asleep. But the wise virgins are adequately equipped for their task, and stay awake may mean no more than to be prepared; cf. Mt 24:42, 44.

            * [25:14–30] Cf. Lk 19:12–27.

            * [25:14] It will be as when…journey: literally, “For just as a man who was going on a journey.” Although the comparison is not completed, the sense is clear; the kingdom of heaven is like the situation here described. Faithful use of one’s gifts will lead to participation in the fullness of the kingdom, lazy inactivity to exclusion from it.

            * [25:15] Talents: see note on Mt 18:24.

            * [25:18] Buried his master’s money: see note on Mt 13:44.

            * [25:20–23] Although the first two servants have received and doubled large sums, their faithful trading is regarded by the master as fidelity in small matters only, compared with the great responsibilities now to be given to them. The latter are unspecified. Share your master’s joy: probably the joy of the banquet of the kingdom; cf. Mt 8:11.

            * [25:26–28] Wicked, lazy servant: this man’s inactivity is not negligible but seriously culpable. As punishment, he loses the gift he had received, that is now given to the first servant, whose possessions are already great.

            * [25:29] See note on Mt 13:12 where there is a similar application of this maxim.

            * [25:30] See note on Mt 8:11–12.

            * [25:31–46] The conclusion of the discourse, which is peculiar to Matthew, portrays the final judgment that will accompany the parousia. Although often called a “parable,” it is not really such, for the only parabolic elements are the depiction of the Son of Man as a shepherd and of the righteous and the wicked as sheep and goats respectively (Mt 25:32–33). The criterion of judgment will be the deeds of mercy that have been done for the least of Jesus’ brothers (Mt 25:40). A difficult and important question is the identification of these least brothers. Are they all people who have suffered hunger, thirst, etc. (Mt 25:35, 36) or a particular group of such sufferers? Scholars are divided in their response and arguments can be made for either side. But leaving aside the problem of what the traditional material that Matthew edited may have meant, it seems that a stronger case can be made for the view that in the evangelist’s sense the sufferers are Christians, probably Christian missionaries whose sufferings were brought upon them by their preaching of the gospel. The criterion of judgment for all the nations is their treatment of those who have borne to the world the message of Jesus, and this means ultimately their acceptance or rejection of Jesus himself; cf. Mt 10:40, “Whoever receives you, receives me.” See note on Mt 16:27.

            * [25:32] All the nations: before the end the gospel will have been preached throughout the world (Mt 24:14); thus the Gentiles will be judged on their response to it. But the phrase all the nations includes the Jews also, for at the judgment “the Son of Man…will repay everyone according to his conduct” (Mt 16:27).

            * [25:37–40] The righteous will be astonished that in caring for the needs of the sufferers they were ministering to the Lord himself. One of these least brothers of mine: cf. Mt 10:42.

            * [25:41] Fire prepared…his angels: cf. 1 Enoch 10:13 where it is said of the evil angels and Semyaza, their leader, “In those days they will lead them into the bottom of the fire—and in torment—in the prison (where) they will be locked up forever.”

            * [25:44–45] The accursed (Mt 25:41) will be likewise astonished that their neglect of the sufferers was neglect of the Lord and will receive from him a similar answer.

Have you considered the oil to be acts of mercy? 😀

          • Paul

That is fine. Someone said to me what if they say I did not understand? As though I have to understand everyones thought process. Nothing I understand was communicated to me by people who understood my thought process. That is one of the reasons why I am a Calvinist!

          • susan

Oh. Okay. When our Lord speaks of oil, what do you believe the oil represents? What does your Calvanism teach? 🙂

          • Susan,

How are you doing these days?

How is brother Walid doing? Been concerned about you brother Walid as well as some of the regulars that don’t seem to be commenting on the website anymore. God Bless, David G

          • I am fine David G. I do not comment much because it took a great deal of time thats all. That plus certain people get into endless argumentations and debate. I figured out that I had better things to do.

          • David G

I understand. Wishing you, Maria, Carlos, and Ted a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. God Bless, David G

All these 57 are apartheid states that live according to their own primitive laws. They even have their own declaration, the Cairo Declaration of Human Rights — to counter the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Why are they still in the UN? Why does a non-Muslim nation have diplomatic relations with any of these wicked states?

    • filomena seiffert

Why USA is in the UN? it does not respect any international law.

When we were baptised, and confirmed, we were marked on our foreheads with Holy Chrisim oil with the cross of Jesus the Christ. I wonder if this is what is referred in scriptures? Also, we are again marked with ashes every Ash Wednesday. What do you think Mr. Shoebat?

Where in scripture does it use the word charismatic? I remember reading “fierce countenance”. And I do think Erdogan has strong appeal to many in other parts of the world. This is no ordinary spirit…

How much more, do you think he deserveth worse punishments, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath esteemed the blood of the testament unclean, by which he was sanctified, and hath offered an affront to the Spirit of grace?

Is hell awaiting all the Democrats ‘Aaaaaaassssssses” since they support the evil of abortion??? Trump is against abortion _ the side young refer is for it.

    • filomena seiffert

Your understanding of Christianity is absurd! because one is against one sin and commit all others is he justified? Does God has a different stander for democrats, communists, all-right and all helish or human association? Beside all that politicians tell lies to gain votes. Murdering millions is OK as long as one is against abortion? I can see how one Catholic is OK with a greed, woman hater, adulterous man that is also, according to reports, a child molester. All that but when the pope is attacked I don’t hear any of you defending him.

  • Kevin Nicholson

“In 1904 the Zionist leader Theodor Herzl visited the Vatican to ask the Pope Pius X, to assist in the establishment of the modern Jewish state of Israel, the homeland of the Jewish nation. But Pius refused.””

    Pope Pius X:
“[We cannot give approval to this movement. We cannot prevent the Jews from going to Jerusalem—but we could never sanction it. The soil of Jerusalem, if it was not always sacred, has been sanctified by the life of Jesus Christ. As the head of the Church I cannot tell you anything different. The Jews have not recognized our Lord, therefore we cannot recognize the Jewish people].”…
“Yes, but we, and I as the head of the Church, cannot do this. There are two possibilities. Either the Jews will cling to their faith and continue to await the Messiah who, for us, has already appeared. In that case they will be denying the divinity of Jesus and we cannot help them. Or else they will go there without any religion, and then we can be even less favorable to them.”

Quoted excerpts from an article entitled ‘Israel: What do Catholics believe about the Jewish people? Are Catholics into Replacement Theology?’:

“We agree with Millennialists that there will be a huge conversion of Jews in the end times and we agree with Replacement Theology proponents when they say that the new Israel after the resurrection of Christ, is the Church, not modern day Israel. However, that is not the whole story about Israel…”

“Christian anti-Jewish predjudice has not served the cause of unifying the older brother Israel (of the Promise) with the younger brother, Gentile Christianity. Catholics are coming to understand that the Jewish people who are called to the Church are not called to blind assimilation and absorption into Gentile Christianity. Jewish Christianity in the Catholic Church will need a distinct culture, a distinct calling, which includes cohesion among people of Jewish origin. Christians who try to convert Jews today will not get very far unless they take into account the distinct nature of the “older brother” and understand that the Jewish people are under the “regime of the Election”.

There is nothing inconsistent with the preservation of Jewish distinctiveness, and an authentic conversion to Christianity in the Catholic Church…

We saw this when Eastern Catholics returned from the Orthodox Church. Pope John Paul II declared: “Unity, whether on the universal level or the local level, does not mean uniformity or absorption of one group by another. It is rather at the service of all groups to help each live better the proper gifts it has received from God’s spirit.””

“There have been many unfortunate episodes in history. Basically, from the time of Jesus until Pius XI, (1932), the Church was almost as blind to the unique role of the Jewish people in God’s plan for salvation, as the Jews were to the role of Christ. This has led some Hewbrew Catholics such as Roy Schoeman to speculate that this double blindness between the Catholic and Jews, was part of the biblical prophesy that has kept the Jewish people from mass conversion until just before the end times. (Romans 11)”

      Source:

      http://catholicbridge.com/catholic/replacement_theology.php

Romans 11 is clear. God has Providence. Thy will be done.

This doesn’t mean that there aren’t powerful people pushing Zionism as a means to attack the Church today. There obviously are e.g. former Vice President Joe Biden isn’t exactly a faithful Catholic. He’s pro-choice for one. But as Sacred Scripture states:

      Genesis 50:20 (DRA)

20 You thought evil against me: but God turned it into good, that he might exalt me, as at present you see, and might save many people.

Joseph was sold into slavery by his own brothers in the Old Testament. In so doing, as evil as their intentions (and actions) were, God was able to turn this evil into a greater good. Joseph rose to being Pharaoh’s right hand man, giving him the necessary power and influence to save his people when they were most in need, including the very brothers who sold him into slavery, in accordance with God’s plan and will.

The Lord works in mysterious ways. None of us have ‘everything’ all figured when it comes to understanding the fullness of God’s mysteries. Not every opinion of a pope or Church father is infallible.

      Godspeed

For it is not he is a Jew, who is so outwardly; nor is that circumcision which is outwardly in the flesh: But he is a Jew, that is one inwardly; and the circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

        And Finally:

        Galatians 3:28 Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)

There is neither Jew nor Greek: there is neither bond nor free: there is neither male nor female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Nay, Catholics support neither Islamists or Zionists (Judaism).

        • Matt

Respectfully, are you going to apply this same interpretation regarding ethnicities to men and women now too?

          Galatians 3:28 (DRA)

28 There is neither Jew nor Greek: there is neither bond nor free: there is neither male nor female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.

It’s absurd to pointblank claim there is no male and female in the literal sense, in the same way as its absurd to pretend there aren’t different ethnicities like we’re deaf, dumb, blind and stupid. Christ obviously wasn’t speaking literally here. He was speaking figuratively.

We are all brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, and although differences exist, they don’t serve to divide us. Our differences compliment each other when we are faithful to Christ’s calling.

Not sure you read the quotes shared because they aptly put these truths into context.

The Eastern Rite has a beautiful and sacred Liturgy. We honour the ethnicity of different cultures and nations as a Church. That’s why we have various rites.

I never said the Jews aren’t required to convert to the Catholic Faith and didn’t quote any article that stated this. I affirmed the reality that a Jewish person can convert to the Catholic Faith and maintain their own distinct Jewish identity and that it’s important they do. It is God’s plan and will that the Jewish people will convert on mass (on His time line).

We also shouldn’t ignore the many Jewish people who have converted and continue to convert. They are doing exceptional work for Christ’s mission and for preparing the Jewish people for their ultimate destiny as a people and nation (and more). In the same way as we shouldn’t ignore the extraordinary contributions historically of the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. They are our older brother. We are the younger brother.

You would know, if you’ve read my other recent comments here (e.g. questioning Trump’s ‘motives’ recently regarding Jerusalem), that I don’t believe in blindly following any nation or people. I’m a Catholic and don’t even believe in blindly following a Catholic pope. Blind faith is fanaticism, and fanaticism is dangerous.

Christ never called us to blind faith. The Church teaches that the Catholic Faith stands upon faith ‘and’ reason.

There have been various examples in our history of some Catholics falling into fanaticism and perpetuating evils, and these examples are held against us to this day by both Jews and Orthodox Christians. No nation or people, (in the same way as no mortal man), is without sin.

The New Testament frequently names the Jews first in various contexts:

          Romans 1:16 (DRA)

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel. For it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth, to the Jew first, and to the Greek.

          Romans 2:9 (DRA)

9 Tribulation and anguish upon every soul of man that worketh evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Greek.

          Romans 2:10 (DRA)

10 But glory, and honour, and peace to every one that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Every Word in the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God. To ignore the importance of the Jewish people to God is to ignore the very Scriptures we profess to believe in.

    Avram, no context is valid:

    Galatians 3:3-9 Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)

Are you so foolish, that, whereas you began in the Spirit, you would now be made perfect by the flesh? Have you suffered so great things in vain? If it be yet in vain. He therefore who giveth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you; doth he do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of the faith? As it is written: Abraham believed God, and it was reputed to him unto justice. Know ye therefore, that they who are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. And the scripture, foreseeing, that God justifieth the Gentiles by faith, told unto Abraham before: In thee shall all nations be blessed. Therefore they that are of faith, shall be blessed with faithful Abraham.

    Amen.

The problem is that the seed of Ishmael produced trillions of Anti-Christ.

What you have wrote has nothing to do with Zionism or Judaism which are both antichrist. Catholic tradition wars against all false ideologies.

    Yes, regarding a physical kingdom:

    John 4:21-24 Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)

Jesus saith to her: Woman, believe me, that the hour cometh, when you shall neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, adore the Father.
You adore that which you know not: we adore that which we know; for salvation is of the Jews.
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true adorers shall adore the Father in spirit and in truth. For the Father also seeketh such to adore him.
God is a spirit; and they that adore him, must adore him in spirit and in truth.

    Context:

    1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)

For the Lord himself shall come down from heaven with commandment, and with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead who are in Christ, shall rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, shall be taken up together with them in the clouds to meet Christ, into the air, and so shall we be always with the Lord. Wherefore, comfort ye one another with these words.

Christ is coming for His Catholic church.

    Also: 2 Peter 1:21 Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)
For prophecy came not by the will of man at any time: but the holy men of God spoke, inspired by the Holy Ghost.

Christ came as a Jew, so will the Antichrist.

    1 Thessalonians 2:14-16 Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)

For you, brethren, are become followers of the churches of God which are in Judea, in Christ Jesus: for you also have suffered the same things from your own coutrymen, even as they have from the Jews,
    Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and the prophets, and have persecuted us, and please not God, and are adversaries to all men;
Prohibiting us to speak to the Gentiles, that they may be saved, to fill up their sins always: for the wrath of God is come upon them to the end.
