If the Democrats are the “real deal”, then then Republicans are the same thing, just a watered-down version of them. This is an observation that many political observers have made throughout the years, and while it is certainly not an “official” position, it is based on clearly documented and consistent themes.
The Democrat Party in recent years has publicly shocked people for aligning with all sorts of odd political ideas, social theories, and beliefs that are clearly hateful to Christianity. That said, it is interesting that the GOP nominee for sheriff in Cheshire County, New Hampshire is a self-identified anarchist, transsexual devil worshiper as Fox News reports on the matter.
A self-described “transsexual Satanist anarchist” has won the Republican nomination for the sheriff’s job in Cheshire County, N.H. — a victory she says proves “the system is utterly and hopelessly broken.”
Aria DiMezzo, who ran with the campaign slogan “F*** the Police” and says she had expected to lose to a write-in candidate, won the nomination for Cheshire County sheriff on Tuesday. The victory was first reported by Inside Sources.
In a Friday blog post, DiMezzo said she opposes a system that allowed thousands of people to walk into a voting booth and vote “despite knowing absolutely nothing about the person they were nominating to the most powerful law enforcement position in the county.”
“I’m running for sheriff because I oppose that very system, and the sheriff has the most hands-on ability in Cheshire County to oppose that system,” she said. “The system that let you down by allowing me — the freaking transsexual Satanist anarchist — be your sheriff candidate is the same system I’m attacking. I’m sorry, and I know it hurts to hear, but that system is a lie.”
“The entire thing is a lie. It’s broken from beginning to end, and my existence as your sheriff candidate is merely how this reality was thrown azinto your face,” she said.
Inside Sources reports that she will now campaign against popular incumbent Democrat Eli Rivera, who is seeking a fifth term.
Marilyn Huston, the chair of the Cheshire County GOP, congratulated DiMezzo for the victory and told Inside Sources she “did very well with the primary and that was wonderful.” However, Huston said DiMezzo never showed up to GOP meetings and events, despite being invited.
According to the outlet, DiMezzo comes from a group of libertarian activists that has produced candidates before. DiMezzo hosts an internet radio show where she is referred to as a “She-Male.” (source)
It is true this is a local election. It is true this is comparatively small, and that a lot of people probably do not want such a person representing their district, but it is not this that matters so much as the principle that this person won and now is considered to be a serious political contender.
This also should not be considered extraordinary either. Remember that I have said for years that 75%+ of the Millennials and Zoomers support sodomite marriage, and that when one considers popular support for sodomite behavior as a general concept, those numbers rise (based on my calculations following the same general pattern for acceptance in that the <25% who do not support sodomite marriage would support sodomite behavior by about the same percentage) to about 93%. These are not “official” numbers for that (as I have looked hard and not been able to find a conclusive study noting this), but just as with expounding on the Pareto Ration (the “80-20” rule applied to the “20%”, yielding a ratio of 4:16:80), such would be consistent.
Beliefs have consequences. Demographics as real, and this is a demographic issue, for demographics are more than just skin color or language, as they constitute widely accepted political beliefs. The average American (and likely non-migrant) demographic supports the LGBT, and because of the support it will affect social relations, laws, and government in the same way that based on the same concepts (not per se the LGBT issue, but I speak of acceptance of ideas and philosophies in a given demographic bloc) for why gun rights are in decline and will continue to decline possibly to the point of banning firearms, since law always and without exception is meant to reflect the values, beliefs, and actions of a people. It does not always work this way, since laws are human things for people in a world fallen by original sin, but this always is their concept.
The nature of politics is changing, and the fact that the Democrat Party has been reflecting very odd ideas is not strange at all, but it is because they are reflecting the changing trends in society. The Republicans are just catching up to this, likely as a result in the natural and coming decline of their Boomer base.
This is a major reason why I note that Christians need not to focus on political activism- although that aspect must be maintained -and rather on fixing internal problems while maintains as long as it is feasibly possible the existing systems they have. The culture war is over and Christians lost, that is the uncomfortable fact, and now we must deal with the consequences of that loss. There will come opportunities for things to improve at some point, but for now, the matter should be considered done. It is another reason to warn against putting one’s hope into political parties who are made of fallible me, are doomed to fail, and at the current time, are inclined to turn against one because the people that make up the adherents of the party have undergone a fundamental shift in their values and it is being made clear in who they select for and get elected as a candidate.
